Virgin Mobile has a well operating pre-pay system, and Sprint does not. There's a lot of money there in these troubled ecconomic times.

Bar Code Scanner - scan any bar code with the camera, then google it for description, and cost
Android Wallpaper - change your background
Free Caddie - for playing gold, uses GPS to show distance from the hole,
Documents to go - free version (you can upgrade to full version)
Mabilo - preview and down load ringtones and other sounds

I definitely can see prepaid service becoming more popular - at least with at&t, if you can put up with the lack of roaming coverage, all but the highest need data users and family plan members can likely use prepaid with a significant savings.
Sounds like I am maybe out of the loop re: a major (and exciting) change at T-Mobile - what exactly do you mean they've separated their phones from ...
