I would say you followed the real trail, or found a way around the "wall". As you are going towards the G39 on trail 3 you go past a coal pile. I ride a lot at night but in my opinion and with my experience, A night ride when temperatures are dipping below freezing is not a good Idea, Especially if you are planning on a long ride. When the temperature drops more atvs seem to break down. Good Luck if you do this.
