QUOTE (Hb_Kai @ Nov 6 2009, 20:44) Key 14, eManager; does that have anything to do with that "special-e"? Make a copy of this file and put it on your desktop, remove the key 14 line from the original and press CTRL + S to save it, then try clicking the the media center button and see if it...

Windows 7 - a Yes? or a No?
Published (2009-11-06 20:06:00)
In the main I quite like it, it has many pluses, but the odd minus. It is faster than XP and in conjunction with with Windows live mail I am definitely a fan. I was not happy at first with its Windows explorer, but have now sorted that out to my own satisfaction. I like the themes, but wish that I could change the opening music as I could in XP. You need to be clear what you want to reduce the picture size / image size? or the file size of the images? Compressing the image files into a ZIP file is the only way to preserve the original picture size and quality. However, you may not be able to reduce the total file size by a large percentage. Sending large files by email is never a good idea. Email is not a file transfer system, and many ISPs have restrictions on attachment sizes. I...

Hi there all, I have been running W7 from around May and have had no problems. I bought the preordered Ultimate at a good discount and prepared to install - it would not let me do an upgrade from the Release candidate so I Easy Transferred all of my gear to an external drive as a mig file and then did a clean install. On trying to run the Easy transfer it kept asking for a password I never put in in the first place and refuses to accept...
