I'd try a repair of Outlook. Select the Help menu from Outlook, then click Office Diagnostics . If that doesn't work I'd try removing & reinstalling Office.

Did it get slow over night? What is the history behind the problem? I would get rid of Adaware and get SuperAntiSpyware.

Good job with uninstalling Norton. To make sure Norton has been completely removed from your computer download and run the Norton Removal Tool . Also to disable some unused Windows Processes I would remove any programs that you don't use and disable any Windows Services that you don't use by following Black Vipers Services Guide . For security programs I would recommend, Malware Bytes AntiMalware . And Spyware Blaster .

I recommend 2 partitions per disk, system & data. 3 if you have a factory recovery partition. Data is best in folders which are already assigned by windows (defaults) and then adding your own. XP has all the folders in "My Documents". in properties click "move", ok; it will ask you if you want to move all the files to the new location? make sure you click ok (yes) even if there are no files, this...

I think you will find it doesn't need drivers, but you will need to configure it manually. Read through the Quick Installation Guide. http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/...RT54G/download

Hi, One day when I was transferring files from computer to my USB drive (Lacie 200GB), the computer encountered some errors and I rebooted. Then, when I clicked on the USB drive a pop-up appeared asking me to reformat. I don't want to reformat because I need the data on the drive. Can someone help me to solve this difficulty? Thanks!!!

Steve, I'm not sure if there is a right/wrong, better/worse way to go since I've never done this before. Would you have a look here... Have some questions on partioning a backup drive And tell me what you think? Am I over analyzing this? I'm wondering if I should just format the drive and then let Acronis make the copy and leave it at that.

I just followed your instructions, but it doesn't seem to have changed anything. However, in resetting Explorer 8, I was asked about accelerators. I saw it had Windows Live as one of my choices. I don't use that program so I removed that accelerator. I then followed the help instructions on finding new accelerators. Outlook is not a choice. Gmail was so I did add that one since I also ...
