Nifty (yep, my new favorite word) little trick this week. One of my favorite little features in Windows 7 is the shortcut key combination that hides all the open windows except for the one you are working on. Its a great way to clear out the extra window clutter. howtogeek.com has the article

Most of our vendors of our machines quit producing printed manuals, and now they give the end users a "quick start" guide and put everything else on a CD in PDF format. All of my service manuals went to PDF over 11 years ago. I prefer them in electronic format anyway, MUCH easier to find something, plus you can edit, highlight and make notes in PDF's.

Sometimes, I'm almost driven to tears when I think about growing up in California and the days of my youth. Now I realize one of the smartest things I ever did was move to Texas.

well, the only real issue to this is that MS is a bit miffed that people are buying the upgrade without having a previous copy first. As for those who are making a legitimate upgrade: "Now there are many, many, many, many of you out there that already own Windows licenses that qualify for the Windows 7 Upgrade, so this is a non-issue for you. (I am talking about people who own a FULL license for a previous version of Windows for their...

I don't print that much, but my tired old photosmart 7660 works with an old standard bubblejet driver. Gets me by until I figure out which printer I need to replace it with. My scanner I know won't work with 7, so I'll probably get an all in one.
99% of the time, I just remote print to the printer back in our shop.
Since we are a photocopier/printer/scanner company, the full color machines ...

Viiiiiissssssttttttttaaaaaaa... nope... not going to go there. Plus, my vote is for Windows Me. Horrible OS.
Last week, in honour of the Windows 7 launch, we covered Microsoft's biggest successes in the computing field. This week, in the interest of balance, we're looking to the company's dark side.

NOD32 This program is arguably one of my favorite programs ever! Realizing that's a really weird statement especially when it's dealing with an antivirus program the reason that I say that is with this program installed on all of my systems I have yet to have an infection or a piece of malware successfully make it onto any of my systems. As a matter of fact, I have recently upgraded all of ...

Do you know that just about every application on the planet today ...
