Its October 1974 at Rockville, PA. An eastbound passes long gone Rockville tower, as Barry preserves it for posterity with his Speed Graphic 4X5 camera. The railroad scene was in bad shape back then, but as far as the rail buff is concerned, there was a lot of cool stuff to photograph back then! Thanks for all the well wishes. Please be aware that I CANNOT talk on the phone. I can barely whisper, and doing so makes me start coughing, so please, no phone calls. I'm not sure what brings on all this nonsense write up on HSC is about all of a sudden but i for one can say that with Scott gone we are now more welcome than ever before providing we follow a few rules. However the problem lies within organizing the event to a point in which ground rules should or must be followed.... but they never are.... thus this still brings...

Hope you fell better, my six year old got a virus over the hoilday and now I got the aches and pains.. My oldest son got the swine flu earlier this year and then pneumonia afterwards.. not fun stuff. take care of yourself.. Dear Ken, I hope you get better; I had a bad cold which held on for several weeks, and finally got past it... I think that once you've had it, you are immune to the same thing happening again... I stopped a sore throat dead in its tracks by drinking Trader Joe's brand " lemon-ginger-echinacea-root" juice; the combination makes a "kick" in one's throat which seems to help wipe-out the virus... Ken, so sorry to hear you are still ailing, I think you were coming down ill even before Thanksgiving; seems the older we get, the longer it takes to get well….. My household already had the Swine flu several months ago and it took quite a while for us all to get back to 100 percent, I hope you get there soon!
