what a fabulous treat to see this show!! the paintings all look so beautiful when they are all dressed up! I loved seeing the hooked rug- how unusual.....there is a local place that teaches how to do this...

Thankyou all so much for commenting and for taking the time to look ...I think everyone did a wonderful job on this week´s challange ...it is a great exercise to develope our skills and try new subjectsthat we don´t usually do ... and yes Dewi ... I think I keep redoing the painting until I feel satisfied with it ... this is the only way to get it out of my system lol

Hmmm.. I like both, it really depends on what I want in my painting - I usually go with acrylics.. oil painting can be a pain, sometimes. Especially when it comes to washing your brushes, your hands.. I do appreciate both mediums. They both have a lot to offer.

Well, I got most of the way through today -- the first day of the month -- before I remembered that we turn our clocks back one hour today for Daylight Saving Time! We were wondering why the TV listings didn't seem right -- then we realized we were an hour off! Nice to have that extra hour though!
So, I wonder if the main focus on the Portraiture Forum this month will be the ever-...

Happy November all!!! I love this time of the year with all the holidays coming up. Our weather is usually great but a little windy at times. Living in the desert in the fall means the heat comes on in the mornings to warm the house and by late afternoon we have to run the a/c as it gets into the upper 80's.
My crafting is pretty much done for the year. With craft shows starting on ...
