What a day, I'm tired, how about you all? I got to my mom's at 9, rinsed the brine from the turkey and got him all seasoned and stuffed and in the oven at 10.? Happy Thanksgiving!!!? Just taking a break......we aren't eating until around 5:00 as Kasey and Brandon (niece/nephew) had to go over to their other g'mas for lunch....I snuck in here to catch up on the posts!? Miss you guys! We are having fun......the LSU campus tour was great - brought back so many memories!? Ummm...eating.....um, let's just say there is no point counting or journaling!!? Amy, I'm so so happy to hear you talking about your mom's family. What a blessing to have found them, and to have instantly forged a new relationship with them. You can do this! Even if you did gain this week, you can still get through the holiday and be successful! Just remind yourself that it's not all about the numbers on the scale, but how you feel, the control you have, etc.
As for Thursday, you can do that too. Make a plan for yourself... 1/2 servings at each place or dinner at one/dessert at the other, or plan on having mashed potatoes ...

It's basically a pillow that the girls can sit on at camp-outs and meetings. My girls made them out of old vinyl tablecloth material stuffed with newspaper, but I've seen them made out of old jeans (their parents), and even shower curtain (the vinyl ones) material too. I like the vinyl material because it's waterproof for campouts.
