LOL tried to? Honey your as crazy as he was at that time then. LOL He had to explain this to me after we were married and what made him persue that. In reality..... it paid 50 more bucks a month and he needed it in his pay for him and his family. The things people do to put food on the table. But if you gotta you gotta. You'll probably hear from others that counting calories is not a productive use of time. With a fresh pouch, if you put the right stuff in it, it's very hard to get too many calories anyway! I've never bothered to count calories. I count protein and carbs, and I count ounces drunk. If I keep the protein in the 70+ range and the carbs below 10-15 or so, I have no problems. Oh, yeah, don't go crazy on the fats, either. This...

I was amazed the Dr came in today and told me that I could leave if I wanted too. I opted to stay another night, yesterday was the surgery and last night was a rough night I was in severe pain but now the gasses are moving and I feel so much better I am very tired but that is to be expected. The hospital staff here are amazing and couldn't be more helpful.

I think my best last was last Tue. when I was getting a shower before going in for my tummy tuck. I have had to hold the slab of fat and skin up to wash under it for so long. I thought well this will be the last time i will have to do this again. lol that is a good last for me...

I think it's a great idea, I was considering asking myself. I am 25 with a 6 year old and just about one week out. I am by no means a seasoned veteren, but by the time you have your surgery I will be fresh out of the hard part and I'll be more than willing to lend an ear and some advice, I need that myself!! You are more than welcome to contact me, even if you just need someone to vent to that...

You know someone else said this when asked how they lost so much weight. They said well I changed the way I eat. Its not a lie. Because you did change the way you eat. If they ask what...... just say I eat protein first then follow it up with veggies etc. Your not lying what so ever. I have been in your shoes to honey. They do have a strange look dont they.

Sorry to hear you are having problems. Your drs seem to have pretty much covered everything.
However, how thorough was your blood labs, did you have a complete vitamin panel and a complete mineral panel including the minute ones like zinc and copper?

Sixty-six pounds gone in four and a half months ain't all that shabby. You know, of course, the futility of comparing your loss to others, but it's such a natural thing to want to do anyway, isn't it?
Think of it this way. Losing it slow gives your skin more time to catch up. People who lose it slower often don't have as much floppy skin as they otherwise would have. That's a plus!! Also,...

Ok honey first thing dont be embarresed to ask this question what so ever. We have seen the constipation question alot and I have delt it with also. The giving birth is exactly what it feels like dont it. Could you still be constipated yes. Miralax is a good med to use for the constipation after this surgery well even before. I have noticed alot of surgeons put there patients on it. It used to be...

I know its a bummer that you lost, but I think its great that you got out there and competed! I always thought I was strong, but I'm with you.. I've lost sooo much strength since surgery. I love to watch mma, and again, I'm impressed you were doing Jui Jitsu so soon after surgery. I guess it just tells me that I haven't pushed myself enough since mine!

Yeah, I'd bark and whine too! Well, I wish they had some news for you; it's got to be disheartening not really knowing whats happening exactly or why. Do you have short term disability? or has it already kicked in to long term disability? I'm just wondering if there's some way your employer can keep you on injured reserve, so to speak. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers ~~~ hang in ...

Fat free is better but it doesn't taste nearly as good. You also need to look at sugars and carbs.

How wonderful to have such a caring sister. She should have some info somewhere that tells what she can have at what stage. Yes you can put it in small bowls and freeze it.Good luck to your sister on her new life journey.
