The Q of amino acid pills came up before, but the answer is no. Your body right now won't be able to utilize them for one, and for another, right now, you NEED to get your protein in as much as you can from food, because you need to allow your pouch and the new route to adjust and realign its functions when digesting food and absorbing the nutrients it needs. If you rely on *artiificial* products, you are robbing your body of the chance...

Pork bacon is really high in fat. Turkey bacon is much better for you although you'll really want to read the label. That head hunger is a bear huh?

Dang! I'm sorry to hear that. I do seem to have occasional issues and it varies from day to day. Can you tolerate powdered milk? I add unflavored protein or powdered milk to a lot things to get my protein in. The powdered doesn't bother me. Otherwise, you'll have to get the protein in from refried beans and other things. Or how about the unjury chicken soup?
Your stats are great! I bet you feel...

Sounds like dumping. Milk has lactose in it, which is a kind of sugar/carb.
Incidentally, sugar=carbohydrates, they are NOT two different substances/chemical groups. Please check my following post on this subject. http://www.renewedreflections.com/fo...tml#post214 782
Sugar in general converstation indicates sucrose, but as far as chemistry goes, it's a group of substances which is ...

Could be either one. Drop in sugar or delayed dumping. Try not to eat sweets for a bit and see what happens. If you have a blood glucose monitor use it while your feeling bad and see what it says.

I bought a 1.5 qt little crock pot a few weeks ago, and have been using the 15 bean mix as a base for my soups, I just put in a half cups of the bean mix and then put in chicken broth and some chicken tenders chopped up with onions and some frozen mixed vegies, then let it cook till I get home from work. Soup for one for at least a few days. Not too much for my diet. just enough for a few ...

Actually, the major reason you shouldn't chew gum--the majority of surgeons say don't--is because it can cause blockage. It doesn't soften, it doesn't melt, so, if you accidentally swallow it, it can cause a lot of discomfort, get stuck, block the gut, and the only way to get is out would be with an endoscopy, or if it gets stuck further out, then surgery.

Rice
Is there going to be a point in which a little bit white rice will be okay to eat without making me sick? I have not has any rice since waaayyyyy before surgery (except for a teeny bit of sushi rice) and quite frankly, I'm scared to death to have any because I understand that it can make us very sick. But does there come a time in which we can have little bit and still...
