Pricing on Amazon is slightly different to eBay in that all prices are Buy Now and all the exact items are listed together so price comparison is a lot easier. On the opposite end of the scale you could ask Who sells for 95p and makes anything and what sort of service will they offer? When we sold on there, we listed for a 'widget' at, say , £4.99 and were the cheapest, the next day someone would undercut us to £4.98. It got so...

There's a new stable version of the browser available. It's version 3.0.195.32 and you should be able to get it via the browser's updater. You can also download the browser from here if necessary. This still isn't shown on the FileHippo site. They seem only to do the beta versions at present.

I can't believe some of the used book prices on Amazon. I recently sold a photography book for £40.00, which was about the going rate given its good condition. However some sellers were quoting over £100 for the same book in the same condition. Today I checked the prices of a book I am interested in. They range from £0.95 (used-good condition) to £11.92 (used - acceptable condition). Both prices incurred P&P. Who in there...

Hi Mike, cheers Mate.... Following your post, I went into online armor, & by process of elimination, found 'computers'.... Switched the Netbook to trusted, and away we go... A movie seems to work on it.... I'm gonna watch one in bed tonight, so if it doesn't work, I'll post back!!! Don't think I'm gonna get any cuddles of Mrs Mugsy though, as I'm planning on watching 'Away Days'!!!!!...

An 'out-of-the-box' installation of vBulletin does not ordinarily give anyone access to a member's Private Messages other than that member. However, there are means to learning the content of a PM. > The recipient passes the content on > The user's login details are compromised > The admin changes the user password and then logs in as the user. However, replacing the original password would be...

I don't know the legal position here, but I'm pretty sure that the only people here who can read a private message are the sender and the recipient. I have a memory of a discussion here a long time ago about what the position would be if someone received an offensive pm and the reply was that nobody else would be able to view the pm even if requested to do so. If you believe that an ...

You need what is called a "Cable/DSL Router". This is a stand-alone router with no integrated modem and it connects by ethernet cable to your Virgin Cable Modem. The type of computer and its operating system is immaterial, because all computers connect using TCP/IP protocol. Suitable routers HERE "Can it not be as simple as using a splitter" No because your ISP (Virgin) only ...

Try looking in the WubiGuide for starters, under troubleshooting. I googled about a bit and a bug has been mentioned. Perhaps 9.04 might be better. Maybe head over to Ubuntu forums for more advice. I haven't had this problem and seeking advice on Linux issues on this forum is probably not the way forward, given the apparent lack of Linux users. Good luck, I hope you don't get put ...

Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop. **Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop** Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed. Close any open browsers. I think you're right that this is a scam, not only that but also an attempt to get your personal details. The main clue is that the e-mail addresses you by saying "Dear PayPal Member". PayPal will always say your name, such as "Dear John Smith", so that you can be sure that the e-mail is from them. You did exactly the right thing by logging into your account separately to check it out....

It seems that this is an issue already known to Real. Have a look here for a small bit of info! My jigsaw piece has gone too, but I don't think that's significant. Another post from Real here from which the upshot seems to be to wait for a fix and use an alternative browser in the meantime.
