Let\'s not start the hype about Stanford being a 70s pro team. Stanford is
a good team but it was USC\'s defense total collapse and poor coaching on
offense, defense, and special team that made Stanford look so dominant.
I\'m still in a shock as to how in the world, a proud, traditional college
football powerhouse to fall apart so miserably. I just comprehend it.

Anybody could see how much RB Joe Mcknight care about winning Saturday. Even though he had a good game Saturday, he was distraught about the loss.
I wonder if he will return. I know he wants to return punts and add to his worth to an NFL team. He's a homerun threat, but doesnt have that bearkaway speed of a Reggie Bush. Joe can be caught from behind and that was evident again on ...

Well, we are a few days removed from a game that was difficult to swallow and what I find interesting are a few comments on fixes and PC's philosophy. As was expected, everyone is searching for the "magic bullet" to fix what people are calling "The fall of Troy" (I completely disagree that this run is over). Two themes seem to surface every time we lose (Thank God it is not that much).

I've been operating under the assumption that Rosebowl91, The Dry Voice, and CStory80 are all the same person. But recent posts seem to indicate that the handles may indeed be unique. I'm not trying to instigate anything or accuse anyone of anything, I'm just sincerely curious and was wondering if I can get the final word on this.
Thanks.

Rocky Seto and Jeremy Bates have been coaching for years. They know what they are doing as did Lane Kiffen and Steve Sarkisian. How long would it take any of us to learn how to coach if we did 24/7? They teach orthopedic surgeons to replace a knee in less time.
The one variable we are not hitting on is talent evaluation, case closed. The defenses were well thought out, they had practiced ...

Okay, after a pretty darn good start it turns out were actually having a not totally-unexpected relatively tough 2009 season.
With a true frosh QB at the helm, lot of new starters replacing a shyte-pot of NFLers on defense, many new key coaches and a gazillion key-injuries (especially on the DL) hampering and holding us back all season long, it still seems to me we should be pleased ...

One thing made me happy in the face of the beat down we suffered today: I'd rather be a Trojan on the losing side than a fan of that classless organization we just played:
1) The Stanford "band" was (is and always will be) a disgrace with that disgusting halftime show they put on. Their incessant harping about Joe Francis was ridiculous. The only good thing about it was that the booing was...

War Time!
The tri-tip is just about ready to come off the grill. Everything is ready for a big USC win.
Hit them in the mouth and don't let up until the final seconds tick off the clock. We are so due for a huge game.

Harbaugh has proven what a classless son of a bitch he is. There was no point to it.
Stanford won this game big, but with that rooster-sucker at the helm Stanford will never win any type of BCS game. Stanford never has had nor will have a consistently good football program under that bastard.

The only ones starting all the negative threads are the ones that became fans in either 2001 or 2002.
Why don't you guys go back to rooting for Miami, Florida, UCLA or someone that has a winning program. We don't need you here. Thanks!

Now looking back, we should all understand how difficult it is to win a MNC and see how special USC has been!
To pin point the peak? I would say with about 6 minutes left against Texas in the Rose Bowl, we were up by 12. The team has not been the same since that point in time.
What are your thoughts?

And so it comes...back to the dark ages.....no recruits, no coaches in a league full of coaches.
How did it happen? The same way it started...arrogance. PC thought he could do the job and hired NChow and had wisdom to keep O. He had a few freshmen, a good QB, poor Ol and an average back he turned into a linebacker. For a RB he found a surfer. He had Troy P. to play defense around. They...
