Well I took a ride out to Tom's house to buy a plane. Key word a plane. Very nice man with a lot of planes to sell wish I had more money would of bought another.I received such a nice deal I came home with 2 both are RFT. I bought his Hobby Lobby Waco biplane, and his art-tech corsair. Has a lot more to sell with good pricing. Thanks a whole bunch Tom. John

The Chino Renegades RC Fliers...

8 or 9 pilots showed at I.E. field today including Renegades Don, Jessie , James and me . No crashes so it was a good day. James flew the T-28 that Ed gave him on a stock motor , brought it home and slapped a 3536-1400kv motor on it cuz it didn't have enough power for him

What is dihedral?

For aerobatics a plane is expected to be as stable upside down as right side up. In casual...

Stinson Voyager Balsa -- Advice?
Published (2009-11-08 18:25:00)
Hello David, There really is no such thing as "Horizontal webs" per se. They're all placed in a horizontal manner, since the space between the ribs is longer than it is tall. So they form a horizontal rectangle. But the grain of the wood (webs) is vertical. The main spanwise stress or load on a wing is vertical. The wings try to bow "Up" during high speed flight (assuming the plane is right-side up),...

Bob,
This topic will likely generate some response but I will throw my 2cents worth in early.
Speaking in generalities here...In a static charged or partially (storage charge) charged condition a lipo battery should pose no problem. Usually the issue with Lipos pops up after hard landing with obvious or not quite so obvious damage such as distorted cells, torn heat shrink covering etc. For some...

It does look nice. But darn if those E-Flite foam WWI jobs aren't so freakin' delicate! My Jenny has had to have numerous repairs from simply handling it in my shop. Squeeze it too hard when changing batteries and oops, there goes the sidewall crushed in again! The rudder had to be repaired and ultimately reinforced with thin wood, the plastic cowling has been CA'd in numerous cracks. These ...

I think for the money you really can't go wrong.
I have had nothing bu tgood dealings with raidentech. I actually got started in this hobby with the Accipiter baddius from them. )several of them actually ) They were always very helpful and resent a couple of items that were damaged in shipping while getting replacement parts and such.
They are not fly by nigyht either, theyve been around...

Hope your first flight is successful..
Just a quick thought. When it comes to airplanes bigger planes are much more stable than smaller planes.Dont be discouraged if you arent successfull with that plane. Its not really a 1st plane .Still good winds_RT

Bill scary isn't the violence and hatered that are in the hearts of some people. I just can't understand what goes through a person's head that drives them to do something so cowardly to kill innocent people.
Those people are in my prayers for sure.
