The more I learn about vintage Citizen divers the more awestruck I get. What a beast! I would love to partake in vintage friday but 1 I don\'t have many vintage watches and 2 I don\'t get too many chances to ear them during the week. But I\'m really looking forward to drooling over many vintage thursday threads to come. Quote: Originally Posted by swingkid Cheers, Sebastian

Negative display: Not impressed!
Published (2009-11-06 17:00:00)
I enjoy both types of displays, largely because I like variety and choices. I also make it a practice not to compare as they are two different displays with two target markets in mind. Finally, I have found that if I accept it for what it is without judging up front, that after a short period of acclimation the negative display is actually quite nice and very useful. Here is my favorite, a picture taken in my office. The light level is medium...

For sale is a very rare 3 color Night Train. I bought this watch from the original owner and cannot find a mark or blemish anywhere on the watch. I rate it a solid 98 or 99. It comes with another Ball leather strap with orange stitching as well as the original box and papers. I am asking $1450.00. I will incur Payal costs and insured Fed Ex shipping. USA and Canada only, no PO boxes.

It\'s good to be creative, but we want watches that are harder and stronger, not softer and weaker. Anodizing only makes a very thin surficial layer stronger. Don\'t know exactly how hard, too lazy to google it, but it is very easy to abrade / scratch from personal experience. Aluminium is good for making drink cans - why would you want a watch made out of the stuff?

In the past, the only time I would ever wear my watch at night would be if I crashed someplace unplanned and never bothered to take off my watch. I always keep my watches on my bedside table and don't wear them overnight. Well, I started a different pattern a few nights ago after getting tired of having one or two automatics losing their charge while I was wearing their siblings. I rotate my...

Wanting to buy a silver, black face diver watch (excuse the non-technical terminology!). I have a lot of Seiko watches (series 5 mainly) and do not have any Invicta watches. I am trying to decide on one of these two: Invicta 8926C or the Seiko (SKX023K2). My questions to the watch gurus out there: 1) Is the band on the Invicta 8926C good or not? I seem to see more posts about it ...
