Gold Haterz Anonymous club meeting

Kinda funny that gold closed on a record high yesterday, and then a moron until 10PM tonight to troll with dump truck flamebait. Too bad about that high print, you don't own enough gold, shoulda invested every dollar you had in the yellow dog. No worries, you've got time before it hits $10,000/oz. One day, you might be able to afford your very own dump truck. I'll even gold plate it for an extra charge. Now be quiet...

Wall Street Claims Ignorance
Published (2009-11-21 11:52:00)
The government propaganda minions in the financial media have done it again this week, claiming that the flattening trend of new unemployment claims is a sign that the economy is improving. Are they too stupid or too clever to report the real reason that claims are coming down? That is ... View the full article

As the Fed buys securities from the banks, let's assume at an overly generous price, it is reliquefying the banks while destroying the credit quality of its own balance sheet. A heretofore unimaginable financial and economic catastrophe is in the making. I have, on a daily basis, watched the Fed's non-response to the bubble, then its furious ad hoc and post hoc responses to the ...

Eric Robert Rudolph- He spent more than five years in the Appalachian wilderness as a fugitive, during which federal and amateur search teams scoured the area without success. It is thought that Rudolph had the assistance of sympathizers while evading capture. Some in the area were vocal in support of him. Two country music songs were written about him and a locally top-selling T-...

QUOTE (analyste de Boston @ Nov 16 2009, 11:05 PM) This board is very very buggy now. Is anyone else bumped every click? "Authorization mismatch - please go back and try again. If you have been trying to access a function incorrectly, please use the proper method." I'll check back later. This is infuriating.

The headline is an oxymoron. Whitney needs no defense. Being attacked by that asshat Cramer is a badge of honor.

Wouldn't the contrarian bet at this point be 'long the US dollar'? With the dollar carry trade being the universal trade and the only question being asked is 'how far will the dollar crash?' I'm that deer up the road froze in the headlights of the oncoming truck. I wonder if some event, circumstance or manipulation could get a dollar short squeeze going. Seems like it has the makings...

My suspicion is that the equity markets reflect the dollar carry trade created by .gov. If that valve stays on, the trade stays on. If it turns off, who knows. I suspect merely turning off the supply would make a lot of folks head for the exits at once. I'd like to know how much equity investment is the result of ownership sponsored by the Chinese and our other sovereign ...

Some of these F&*ks really need to hang from a lamppost. I don't mind the rich getting richer, but I expect them to go through the motions of earning it. Sign me up for the angry mob.

Thought I heard California cut it's budget nearly in half, but didn't believe it. Check out these budget gaps: Cali 49%, AZ 41%, Nevada 37%, Illinois 47%(!!), NY 32%, NJ 31%. Washington, Vermont, Wisconsin, Georgia, Minnesota and CT: all 21-25%. This is on top of already occuring huge increases in unemployment AND foreclosures. That table on page 2 is sobering. Outside of govt ...
