Molly-- Thanks for the suggestion, but I leave at 6:45 and he gets off at 7:00. We literally don't see each other on days that he works. We've got time to figure it out though.

Yuck. I don't get these very often, but I just ignore/delete them. They're never true and not even worth reading.

Ah I hate forwards, I just delete them now. I just don't have time to read hundreds of them unless they are really cute! It's a gimmick for people to get your address...

1. Make doubly sure hubby and I are on the same page about trying 2. Get finances in order!! 3. Figure out how I will not have to buy a new car to fit 3 children in!! 4. Get Riley potty trained and off the paci!! 5. Loose 20lbs (I had a dream last night that the dr told me 30 to 60lbs and that I was prego WEIRD) I'm hoping that all of these things just happen to fall into place :-)

Makes Me Wonder

Hang in there. This too will pass... sometimes it takes longer than others, but it will pass. And remember, all kids are different, so if you do have another who knows what you are in for. You might bet a good sleeper, and if not; at least you've had practice w/ a less than great sleeper. Have you tried putting her to bed later or cutting a nap or changing a nap time? Any of those may, or may not, help with her early rising.

Great idea to get off the BC early. We tried that, but had a trip in between so I went back on. I was off the BC in July/August Cycle, went back on for 6 weeks and stopped the BC in early October. so I am only on my 2nd cycle, first one started 10/3. I was totally obsessed my first cycle, I have been temping and stuff since then, which is annoying, but I feel like I need to. Thought I was pregnant my first cycle, thought we had good timing...

This Sucks

What a bummer. :( I'm sorry you're going through such a tough time. What were you doing for your cousin? Is it something you could do for someone else -- i.e., could she set you up with another person who needs similar help? That really sucks, I am sorry. ((((((((((hugs))))))))))

Anybody else get annoyed with the barrage of email forwards? Some going on about some liberal plot to destroy christianity, others about some rapist attacking women with a new method and 9/10 become false?? Well, I received one this morning for the 10th time in a month and just went off. I forwarded it to my ENTIRE email list going off about the subject. Just tearing this group a new one, about 5 minutes after I sent it I got a reply from my...

Cute of your husband! So sweet that he is thinking about it already! Funny that you posed this question: my SO and I were talking the other day and ended up on this topic. He thinks he wants to know what we are having and I definitely don't want to know. So we might have him find out and be in charge of the nursery. He is really handy, creative, and meticulous and I love his taste, and I ...

I've not bought anything so far. Mainly, we're still in the process of unpacking and organizing, and new purchases are just that much more for me to have to move later! I think it's fine to go ahead and buy stuff, expecially the closer you get to ttc-ing.

Argh, I know how jealous you must feel. I would be too, especially in those circumstances! Hugs to you right now. This feeling will pass and you can be happy for your best friend soon, but you're not alone in how crushed you feel right now. It will get better!

No suggestions, just (hugs). I've been there; still am, to be honest. Just remember that you're doing the best thing for your family right now. I think that's part of being responsible. It's not about giving in to what we want, but realizing that our wants will affect several other people. :/

That's wonderful! My hubby also only wants two kids, but compromised and said that we'll see after 2. Sometimes men are hard to convince!! But I'm glad your DH is talking about it, yay!

Welcome to the group Abbey! Glad to have you! Thanks for the questions, I love answering them and seeing what other people are thinking about. 1) How is everyone preparing? I'm reading all of the literature and getting ourselves ready as best we can, but is there anything you all thought of that you haven't seen in the books? That's a broad question! I tend to think of a million things and go...

I have family members that have done it both ways, and I think it's a lot sweeter to reveal the name with the baby. Plus, there's always a chance that the name you pick out won't seem appropriate, and then what happens? I'm seriously considering have a couple off-the-wall names picked out, and using them for whenever people ask. If I'm not going to tell them the real name, I may as well have ...

Welcome to the board, Joanne! I'm Liz (22) and DH is Sean (22). We're planning to ttc number 1 this spring. We have some things we need to get done on our house first. I'm sure you can handle a new baby! I think the nerves just come with the territory.
