i had a problem like this with an old vw, it turned out to be air was geting into the fuel via perishing fuel lines, i replaced them an the problem was solved, just an idea? have you replaced the rotor arm when you did the dizzy? its worth it only a few quid

Too far for me.... Its 340 miles from london to glasgow and 180 miles from london to York.. so thats over half way up country to scotland.... I think ill wait for a local one as it will be about a 400 mile round trip. and With petrol prices as they are at the moment.. the garages aren'nt giving V Power away. it takes £80 from empty to fill it up and Ive just spent £6000 this week on 3 years worth of IT training courses so Money is a...

I am inclined to think this may be an air-leak in the inlet manifold gasket or a related pipe. There would seem to be a thermal relationship to the fault - as the engine heats, the gap widens. I see that C70 GTT5 has also come up with something along these lines. If you have had the manifold off to do the PCV or something, it may just need torqueing up. However, I wonder if it could it be that the ignition coil is breaking down? The problem...

Well if your wanting to run a 18t your would most likley want the rods upgrading larger injectors etc so really if you have that money to spend you minds well go for a garrett or alike.
70mm is 2.75 inches i dont know the exact size of a standard 18t but i would have thought that would be about right.
The best thing to do is get a angled outlet which will help gasses flow better.
