Water cooling

I'm not particularly happy with the temps of my new Core i7-920 beastie In fact, they are so poor that I've been stopped in my tracks from going any further than just a mild overclock Having looked around, it is apparent that Core i7s are hot processors, at last on air cooling. I'm seriously considering going for watercooling, and I like the look of the Zalman Reserator XT. It's expensive, but should be good for several...

Finding a KVM switch with your specs for under $200 will be difficult. Most KVMs are use for accessing servers, which generally don't need audio, USB, or DVI connections. There are a few that might work in your proce range, but you would need to check the reviews and be able to return the unit if it didn't work out. IOGear has one that might work, and you can check NewEgg for reviews on others....

It could be the inverter is bad. It happens when you buy "tried and tested" off ebay. If the video card was bad, you hooking up a monitor separately wouldn't show anything. Since you tried that and it worked, showed a screen, that proves it's not the video card. Where I would go if I need a laptop part is the link below. http://www.sparepartswarehouse.com/ And they ship worldwide according to their FAQ's.

Hi Cyber Akuma,
There are several DVI, USB KVM switches which feature Audio support. Sadly though, you tend to get what you pay for.
The best switch in my opinion is the Adder AdderView Pro switch which comes in 3 basic types: 4 port single head, 8 port single head or 4 port multihead (dual, triple and quad). This delivers faultless DVI switching, USB and Audio. The key feature though ...

How are your share and ntfs permissions set up? Remember that the result is the MOST restrictive between the two. I normally allow everyone full shared permissions, then lock it down with NTFS permissions.

Your guess is as good as any bodies.
Can you be a lot more specific on how the files got there?
Then again - its kind of up to YOU to decide if you need or want to keep them.
If you're not desperate for drive space - keep em.

That's an error situation that all versions of Word will do.
Normal which is probablt Normal.DOT is the standard template you see when you open Word. It is prone to corruption. Odds are pretty good that if you delete the file, all will be well the next time you open word....
** Note that I haven't used Word 97 in MANY years so the above is an educated guess. **

Sometimes a simple reboot of the pc - drag icon to recycle bin will undo the file in use message.

Anything that blows air and doesn't spit out moisture would work.
They make worthless little vacume cleaners for pc...
I use and old tooth brush and canned air maybe once a year or two... It just depends on how dusty your house is or just how clean you want the pc to be.

A complete waste of time and money! And it will suprise you how many folks have had to do clean installs because of programs like that.
