italianenthusiast-- Found out alittle more about the thoughts behind and, some of the talk going into this project...Yes alot of thinking "out of the box" being done on this but, this has alot of peoples attention and I agree with an earlier post about who will be looking at this beginning in January and down the road---There are some people who thrive on making positive things happen....This could be VERY challenging AND...
Let me snoop around for a summary of other countries' systems.
From a previous comment you made, I thought maybe you had a definitive opinion on one or more countries who were doing it correctly. As I re-read your statement, though, I see that you might have been making a general supposition as opposed to stating a distinct fact. If you do find other healthcare systems that you think would merit...

Why is this a problem? These are adult related fundraisers in which students are not even supposed to be there.

LOST DOG
Published (2009-12-15 12:41:00)
Great glad to hear that he made it home. We lost 1 of our dogs last September when he was hit on Route 6 (his mission in life was to escape our yard), so I was a bit worried for you. I'm not that far from you and about 2/3weeks ago we did see a beautiful husky running around (but can't remember where we were) and my daughter said I wonder if its a stray? I said um "no" that is a husky...

Laser pointer
Published (2009-12-22 17:32:00)
I haven't heard anything from authorities since my last post. However I did get to talk to one of my neighbors that has the same laser pointer poked into his living room harassing his wife. Several times. Mostly when he's not home. The neighbor (laser pointer) apparently makes sure only the wife is home. My son and myself have seen this laser pointer poking into their living room as it drives down the street. Until now it wasn't...

In this situation, it sounds to me like the laser pointer in question would work well as a suppository......installed with the toe of a boot.

Snuggle has a good point. Being an "adult" fundraiser doesn't make it OK. It's in poor taste...we can/should do better than that. We can drink at the Prom to Dawn fundraiser while we make the students sign a contract against drinking the night of the Prom?

I for one would not doubt it. My question is, is mayor anderson going to let mayor Bulan take over the mess she started with the police health insurance. Since she decided not to obied by the arbitrators decision and hire another firm to fight that decision at an unknown cost to us tax payers. she has cost us tax payers probable $100,00.00 fighting the police union. Gee that would pay the ...
There are several streets along the north side of Liberty that have not had the cross-walks painted following the Liberty repavement. Will these be replaced?
Sometimes I think crosswalks are more of a hazard than a help. Too many motorists do not realize that the pedestrian, while in a crosswalk, has the right-of-way and the motorist is legally bound to stop and wait....

DGH-- I too support the concept but certainly MANY questions need to be answered and you ask some very good ones---I believe Vermilion needs GROWTH ie thru business and or light industry...the Schools have much land spread out all over---lets come up with a 10 year plan for a "Campus" type of situation and see what evolves----the Schools neeed to do something besides wait for our legislators to ...

As many people on here know, I am a Vermilion resident emeritus. I now work on this very headache in DC on behalf of the nations' governors--though my focus is preparedness--like h1n1. I am willing to offer some views to Cato (well chosen pseudo--the name of the libertarian think tank in DC). 1. I think we can all agree that 200 years of jurisprudence has made reading the Constitution very ...
