I didn't go back to full-fledged lacto-ovo, but I did stop worrying about trace ingredients, especially when I'm out. Mostly for blood sugar issues. I try to bring food along but I'm not always that organized and my sugar can go from fine to I'm going to pass out in no time. I'm not diabetic or anything. The same thing happens to my sister, who is omni. Must be another wonderful family ...

oh my dear lord. Even in my carnivorous days I would find that quite disgusting.
Food Network has good days and bad days for me. Sometimes I can watch the shows fine even when the subject is meat and not be disgusted (in fact many Rachel Ray recipes have inspired me to make my own vegetarian counterparts) but then they have days where the food is just so vile!
Especially Drive-ins, Diners,...

I got up today as soon as my alarm went off, instead of pressing the snooze alarm 4 or 5 times.
I got good news from the bank.

Do you know what Hitler's diet was like? He's one of the most well-known flexitarians. Flexitarianism means you sometimes or often don't eat flesh, but then you sometimes do.
It really just means "meat-eater", but some people want a fancy word for themselves.

I don't see how it's "cheating"
Is it an animal? No
Does she think it's cheating if you eat tofu or mushrooms?
I'd just say "um, ok" and not even argue. LOL

I was vegetarian for many years and then I decided that I wanted to be vegan as I thought it was more healthy. I did some research about veganism online and I was completely horrified with what I found out about the dairy industry. I have been vegan since then. I found some aspects difficult at first but it is second nature to me now.

Lol @ "utterly destroy the deeds of this season". Yeah. And "a lot of darkness lurking in the air"...sounds very Harry Potter (which is also evil, I suppose).
I can't imagine very many mainstream Christian would even believe this stuff.
I wonder too, how he knows about these "activities" that go on at Halloween. I am a Halloween nut, but I must be really out of the loop.

I don't have one thing in particular, really. I guess bad skin (not acne, just bad skin in general) or ugly legs. I'm not into overweight women.
It is shallow but romance involves physical attraction.

I am in yet again! Starting off this month at 123 which I seem to be stuck at but hopefully this month I can lose a couple pounds. I would love to be 120 by the end of the month. My goals are the same: Watch those portions!! and the sweets, keep up the good work going to the gym.
