Somewhere, in another thread, I talked about a ball that we purchased that went into Guile's bowl to slow him down when he's eating. It's porcelain-coated so it gets super slippery and impossible to pick up. Except that Guile has this enormous mouth, and managed to get the ball far enough in to hook his canines in front of it and pick it up. So he started taking it out of his food bowl. I'm reading Dracula the Undead which is written by Bram Stoker's grandnephew (I think) based on Stoker's notes for a sequel. It's for my vampire book club. I just finished The Girl Who Played with Fire, the sequel to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I loved it and am eagerly anticipating the next one, which comes out in May.

bead weaving
Here are pics of my homemade beadweaving looms and some stuff that I've made. The looms are made from picture frames, string, rubber bands, cardboard tubes, wooden dowels and one turnbuckle (the only thing that I purchased for this project - $1.49 ).
