looking to get a tt bike
Published (2009-11-20 03:41:00)
one can do whatever one likes on a road bike no doubt. Race TTs,race Tris, whatever, I have for years. But that doesnt mean it is the best tool for the use. What are you basing too steep on? Anything beyond 74 is too steep? why? what's that mean? Try getting as small of a frontal area on a road bike as on a TT bike and you will run into maybe three problems: 1) the headtube is almost always taller on a road bike so it is impossible to...

Greetings
Published (2009-11-20 21:27:00)
when I was in Portugal it became clear straight away that people speak more and better english than in Spain. guess this is one of the explanations why you see so little spanish people at veganfitness. it might be a bit early, but posibly we can organise a sportsweekend in april. would like it earlier, but have a course on sathurday's and will be really busy with work the first months of the year.

Ooooh spooky! I like the way you started off all serene and then built up to the danger. Is this a true story? Reminds me off an Olga da Polga story in which the 'Surrey Puma' is at large.

Fruit
Published (2009-11-20 11:08:00)
by only eating bananas, you are missing out on a lot of important nutrients and vitamins found in other fruits like berries, oranges, apples, etc. plus, don't bananas clog your system up and cause constipation?

full bouncer... opinions?

finished well, just needs a bit of twiddling with the indexing, and then i'll see about building some stronger wheels. the saddle has to go too, i think it's leather. the project has utterly run out of funding though, so we'll have to wait for those! took it for a shakedown ride today:

i've read a few articles saying that doing partials with weights you couldnt do a full rep with at the end of a set can be good, it shocks the muscle into adapting and it expects a heavier weight next time.

I take my feet off my pedals whenever I want, anything other than that would be crazy. It's a matter of getting used to how the release system works. Popping a knee because when crashing sounds like extreme bad luck, I've never heard of that one before.

I've recently started only eating berries, as they and veggies top the nutrient list.
Most fruit is just water and sugar, really.
Tasty, tasty sugar.

I think when the swine flu thing was kicking off, Arbela did say her fella was part of a team working on a vaccine that happened to be grown in a non-egg culture, so there are alternative ways of doing it out there.
If I am expected by the health authorities to take a shot here I will (and look for ways to petition government to give me a vegan alternative where possible)
If I ...

Lately Ellen has become the poster woman for going vegan.
She talks about it - has hosted many events and it appears that she desires to be moral and ethical-loving animals with all she has .
However - she is also doing Cover Girl commercials - one of the most toxic non vegan/organic mass produced make up lines. Most of their products rate a 9 or 10 on Skin Deep, a non profit site ...
