They are going to have to take the cambelt off anyway. This also means that the water pump can be removed which should only take 5 mins. I would, as Rob says, change the waterpump (£30), and get a complete new cambelt kit at the same time. No longer as far as labour goes, just how much you are going to spend as far as parts are concerned for peace of mind.

you need a new crank sensor by the sound of things,the rev counter dieing sounds familiar,if the em light is on it has a code stored to point you in the general direction of the fault. as for cleaning it there is a product called gunk,brush it on steam clean it off,just dont soak anything that looks electrical have you checked the oil level since it all escaped?

mine has the same problem.does it start like a dead battery but get faster and faster???because im thinking its my starter motor.once the engines warm its usually ok.my battery is a little bit too small tho aswell,but i defo think starter.i had my plugs checked and the blokey said "battery discharge" but i know thats because of the smaller battery.thing is it looks like a right b@st@rd to get off.heatshield blocks it from the...

nope.. video 9 converts to avi regardless of original format and ffdshow (or whatever it's called) keeps crashing if I try to use SuperC to do the m-jpeg thing. Fer chrissake it can;t be THAT hard.... the ahrdware is sound, why the feck can't Dumtendo release an upgrade to play DVD files!!!. . . .

i cant remember the last time i listened to a 'slow burner'. everything is so 'samey' its an instant like/dont like. best songs are those that take a few listens before you 'get' it (Bowie is a classic example of this)

when i got in touch with the previous owner he said he thinks its the heater matrix in the car ,but when the mercanic put the thermostat on ,and we let the car warm up the heat started coming through the heaters ,but the previous owner is still saying to buy a matrix ...
