Another reason for campaign finance reform, which I am in full favor of. I think each viable candidate should be given a set amount of public money to run a campaign, so that we can finally remove the stranglehold that lobbyists have over our government.

I'm assuming you assume that because I'm very gentlemanly and don't make constant crude references to the female anatomy. As for AmericanIMG, pay him no mind. He's a conformist. bufo has stated that he has taught physiology at Ross and is likely the original writer of the "physio packets" being used by one of the profs as supplementation - If so this is also the prof that is now teaching at the new carib med school that was opened by Robert Ross' son (University of Medicine and Health Sciences).....I wonder what the MPS is over there?

Our members don't see this ad. First of all I do not think the democrats are angels either. They serve the interests of their own lobby groups. But what i find is that many 'conservatives' didn't really call out the flaws in the B administration. I mean B. authorized 717 billion and everyone has their panties in a knot over the 14 billion authorized by O. Give me a break. Secondly there were no real WMDs found in Iraq, so...

In the long run, it depends on how "lenient" you want your rotations/USMLE prep to be. For example, I started in Sept (which by the way, is the most stringent if you want to graduate "on time"). So using September, you basically do your 4 semesters of basic sciences, 5th semester AICM, then you realistically have 2 months max before you take Step 1. Then do your rotations pretty much back-to...

Its not safe to walk around, in the middle of the night, with your iPod in your ears, a laptop in your backpack and unlit streets for long distances most anywhere.
Use common sense, decrease your risk and you'll be fine.

Ask yourself the following:
Where do you want to practice?
Does past history involving the school matter?
What do you want to specialize in, and can you achieve it if you went to [etc]?
Is money an issue?
If there is any other questions I'm missing anyone can feel free to mention.

I'd choose Ross Merp. Ross is a better school than SABA, plus you'll get federal loans for the MD (not for Merp though, which takes two private loans). Saba is probably a lot harder to live at since it's on a remote island with just a few thousand people on it. Living wise, it just seems depressing, but it's your call.
