I would not consider a 1st generation Epic frame for simply the reason that it feels too much like a hardtail. This sounds like what you may be looking for but the Brain shock is very harsh for lighter riders (if you are under about 160lbs), and not very tunable. They also crap the bed after a few seasons and the inertia valve stops working, defeating it's locked-out feel. The Yeti is going to ...

Software...man up. I had APR software put on at 1k miles. Getting just a downpipe and not the associated stage 2 software to accompany it is pointless.
