I think he's done a good job as mayor but the term limit issue is scary. I voted against Bloomberg as opposed to for anyone.

I also found a wonderful sitter on Craigslist, and interviewed about four others who I think would have been fine. I think it may also depend on whether you're looking for full or part-time.

You are probably too much of a control freak to be a WOHM. You either need a nanny that you can "control" more or become a SAHM.

OP here: Thanks for the insight. I sensed the community feel at Citibabes too. Playgarden seemed a little cold...less going on during the "free play" time. Again, Thanks for sharing your experience.

My only reservation about NEST and Anderson is that the gateway test is OLSAT and as much as I understand of it it doesn't test the sort of intelligence I value - it tests ability to sit and answer fairly dull questions, unlike SB and ERB that test for a more vibrant intelligence, IMO. So the dcs with highest OLSATs at NEST and Anderson don't necessarily seem the brightest to me.

Perhaps consider reflecting on whether there is any truth to the demand, before rejecting it outright as a personal affront. If it were just that, it's unlikely HR would have pursued it.
