My sister-in-law (in her mid 50's) has had a total hysterectomy. Uterus, ovaries, cervix, the whole nine yards is gone. Her doc still makes her come in for a pap smear every year. I asked her, "So, since you don't have a cervix, what exactly are they screening for?" I wonder what they're scraping to get cells to send to the lab. Granted, I haven't researched it, but I'm thinking that a screening for...

Yes, I think the TM set is necessary. It does apply to years K-3, so the investment is worthwhile. And, yes GGS is incorporated into the syllabus, but if you didn't want to do that, it's no biggie to skip it. And thanks for the reminder of "meself included."

I would like to see info on the debunking of microwaving plastic and any other such topics. I like to keep extra bottles of water in the back of my truck for 'just in case'. But then I hear about how drinking water that has been stored in plastic in a vehicle can cause cancer. But then I think well, it's better to have water than not and I'd rather deal with cancer later than face the risks of dehydration in an emergency...

Hey, it has already happened to roses. There's a super popular one her, called Knockout, that's patented. It's supposed to be hardy and long
blooming, and just about every business in town landscapes with them. Big box stores sell them, but it is against the law to propagate them /take clippings
yourself. And I think several years ago, "we" passed a law in Iraq stating the farmers there had to ...

I do believe we might disagree on the haunted thing
However, the evolution of females in horror films is a great article. I will write that one down. My editor just emailed me and said "do the costume
design in period horror"--which means I am now off to find period horror movies that have kick as costumes. This will be both funny and serious so I
already have Rocky Horror down as well as ...

If he does any kind of scribbling or drawing at all, he will be fine for K. That's the year they introduce writing, so any familiarity with holding a nice
fat crayon will be plenty. OM-K is wonderful. It will feed a gentle spirit beautifully.
*SMACK SMACK* for being such a bad mommy and ever leaving OM for grade 1-3.

I'm no cheerleader for the public or even private school systems, but I will be sending my oldest to a Magnet high school next fall. And I truly hope it is

I think medical guidelines are forever changing. New evidence comes in and there is a 180. The joke is I have insurance, but must pay the first $3000 before
BCBS will cover 70/30 for any scans. I would rather have less radiation exposure than more. But I feel it should be a personal choice. As for the paps, same
thought, I don't see the need unless my dd is screwing every dude that passes by. ...

No kidding. The idea that your son or daughter turning out to be gay is the
worst possible thing you can imagine? Seriously? A gay child is the worst
thing you can imagine? So, yes, based on that, it seems that some people
would rather have a dead child than a gay one. It absolutely sickens me.

The way he looks in his Levi 501's. The smell of his espresso and the smile as he drinks it in the early morning hours. I can think of more, but I need to

I think the only reason we need to know on what continent something is is that we (general we) are too dumb or lazy to learn where something actually is. You
need clues like, Sudan is on the African continent. Ohhhh... If we knew any geography outside our own backyard, it wouldn't be so important. Besides,
the boundaries are utterly ridiculous as you said.
I long for the good old days ...
