Quote St Augustine wrote to the Pope to say he'd discovered a church in Glastonbury built by followers of Jesus. But St Gildas (a 6th-Century British cleric) said it was built by Jesus himself. It's a very very ancient church which went back perhaps to AD37."

After returning from a group trip to the cinema to watch Paranormal Activity the question of whether these 'hauntings' and 'possessions' could in fact actually take place or more likely to be psychological in nature came up over a few pints. ...

I guess a lot of ppl get mixed up between "Idea" and "theory".
A theory is a concept that still stand after testing, and these tests prove it to be valid.
Like Darwin's theory on evolution. It is a theory..but it still stands after all these years, and archeological findings keep confirming what it says. Very strong theory.
This was also the big issue in the Dover ...

Well I'm only 25, so I remember fairly recently what it was like being a teen with parents, so I think this teen flip out is hilarious. This is the original video by the uploader, and you'll see the 3rd video in the series on is somewhat suspect, but this one I think is real.

Yes religion has an armour LOL thats how it lasted so long. The worst of the armour comes from politics no less. You can't get elected unless you believe in a boogy man take your pick. Religion is so armored that even politics has no defense, to be a politician you have to be religious (oxymoron). So in agreement yes, religion is very harmful. More so the H1N1 LOL but you wouldn't ...

When people look to an invisible man for help and guidence they generaly don't get much in return. So yes religion may very well be hurting the U.S. Look to your fellow man not the sky.

People all diverge from a general "highway" at different times - I don't think it necessarily means one is suddenly wrong, or was always right in the previous path, but upon this divergence, by the very nature of such a process, the new path is not in accord with the previous, at least not to the same extent, so there will be contradiction, conflict and disagreement. I think some good...
