I realize many people believe homosexuality is both strange and immoral. That's basically what most threads about gay marriage targets. What I want to know is what bad do you believe could come out of gay marriage? How will it hurt us or this country? The reason why I'm asking this question is because I believe if no harm can come out of gay marriage then why not make it legal?

If you need proof of the desperation of the left, just look at what's happened at the Republican convention, as opposed to what happened at the Democratic convention. In Denver, arrests were due, primarily, to protestors not dispersing when ordered to. In St. Paul, violent protests took place outside; windows broken, police cruisers attacked. In Denver, Obama enjoyed unfettered ...

Especially the UN - which has grown into a fully corrupt system of people lining both their pockets and their friends/relatives. The UN is a complete joke, all one has to do is read through the list of countries on key councils...such as human rights. And it needs to be funded more fairly - rather than America practically funding the entire operation.

Here is a good one, a person that is rocking the boat.. BBC NEWS | UK | Northern Ireland | Wilson row over green 'alarmists' There is one line that I truely like," Resources should be used to adapt to the consequences of climate change, rather than King Canute-style vainly trying to stop it ," said the minister. " That part about adapting to the consequences of change.. ...

First let me promise that this will be my last thread on this topic for the foreseeable future; I don't intend to make this the all-consuming topic of this sub-forum. However, some of the responses in my previous thread made it clear that the choices were unnecessarily restrictive. This thread is meant to rectify that. Rather than proposing a specific hypothetical measure related to ...

This tropical storm/hurricane actually has political implications. It may make landfall during the Republican National Convention. Gustav batters Jamaica, expected to strengthen - CNN.com Rightly, it should steer the news cycle away from the politics of either the Republicans or the Democrats if it becomes a serious threat to cause a lot of damage. What reactions (from ...

Let me state that I'm neither for or against McCain, but I was able to get my hand on a confidential report, commissioned by several international bankers with the aim of understanding al-Qaeda's strategy! I will only post the relevant section on the US elections: ................ IMPLICATIONS FOR WESTERN NATIONS We previously commented on the organisations desire to ...

Senator John McCain is not the world's best orator, but if you listened intently to his speech at the RNC, you would have understood that this candidate for the Presidency of the United States is a real conservative, and not a neocon. He speaks from his heart and truly believes in our country. He has all the credentials to be our president. Along with his running mate, how can he go wrong? On...

Mitt Romney will not be McCains choice, even though Romney is scheduled to appear at the Dayton rally. And Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty told a Minneapolis radio station that he was not going to be in Dayton for the McCain ...
