For instance, you are correct in saying that we are a republic, however, the way in which we vote for our representatives in this republic is by the majority OF THOSE PARTICIPATING. Dig-- It doesn't matter how many of what kind of trips are in a base, except when it comes to longer Int'l trips that require more than 3 days. Then, they build A day blocks that are 4 or 5 days, etc.. The whole point is that if you aren't used on day 1, then you're good for a 2 day, then if not used for a 2 day, you're good for a turn. OR, you could fly a 2 day on your first 2 Adays, then you're still good for a...

Whoops! I thought you could think for yourself, but obviously you just parrot the "fair and balanced" lies from Fox "News", and call it the truth. I would have thought better of you. Which is better? Waiting 6 months for coverage under the Demo plan, or not getting coverage at all unless you are a rich, white Republican who doesn't need coverage anyway as the Republicans think. Hate to break it...

Despite being one of the best ski spots in America, and being located in our home state, people just didn't want to go. Legions of Angelenos have long enjoyed Mammoth Mountain, reachable via a scenic six-...

QUOTE (BoeingBoy @ Oct 31 2009, 01:18 AM) (just look at the medical coverage for Congress) Jim Congress has the same system as all Federal Employees. They have a choice between several carriers like BCBS, AETNA, GEHA, etc... The cost for the plan for a family that chose BCBS (standard option) is about $185.06 ( bi-weekly). That does not include Dental and Vision. If you elect to...

Now that the Obama administration has opened the door to something other than a public option, I hope that congress will consider the Dole, Baker, and Daschle plan. That is our best bet at getting people the coverage needed while containing costs. ...

False Positives. QUOTE There's an important lesson here as well. This unprecedented level of transparency can sometimes be confusing rather than providing clear information. A lot of people visit the White House, up to 100,000 each month, with many of those folks coming to tour the buildings. Given this large amount of data, the records we are publishing today include a few "false ...
