Just from the little info the article contained it does not sound like the shooter was a hot head. It does sound like the one that got shot was and bit of more than he could chew.

I doubt very much that you will be denied because of a one time old bounced check. It was taken care of and you were not arrested so the impact would be minimal. Just list it on the form and you should be good to go. I have a friend that had a NC conviction (no time served, jut a fine) for marijuana possession in the early 80's. This is NOT your local PA police. They have nothing to do with the process. The instructions are written for ND residents so they are referring to local ND police.

I think in that price range you're looking at some compact pistols. Kel-Tec and the Ruger LCP are below $400 and are great guns (IMO). For a full size you're looking at possibility a Rock Island 1911.
You may be able to haggle down to that on a used Glock...
If you're dead set on your budget at $400 those are my recommendations. You can go to Auction Arms and use the advanced search ...

I can't find anywhere in the video where he says "I am Muslim". He admits to family that are Muslim and living in a predominately Muslim country. Edited videos of this nature must be scrutinized before accepting them as "evidence". We must be sure to use only verifiable facts, otherwise it can be used against us.

There are a lot of fine details that you need to be aware of. Don't mix up the plastic and metal pins. I've seen cases where folks mixed up the trigger housing pin (plastic pin that holds the trigger housing in place) and the lock block pin (the pin that holds the lock block in place).
