What are the differences in the two control panels, is one better than the other or can they both do the exact same tasks.

You can backup your database using the following command: # mysqldump -u username -p database_name > filename.sql where: username = database user. database_name = the name of the database you want to backup. filename = name of the output file with sql extension. Alternatively, you can also try "Download a MySQL Database Backup" from cPanel of that account. It will download a file in .sql.gz format.

Personal Hosting Vs. Shared Hosting

I have heard that personal hosting plans are much similar to shared web hosting packages, but much rich in terms of features. What different features does personal website hosting offers in general compare to shared web hosting? Can i use personal hosting for my existing photography site , whose database is around 2 GB and traffic is around 1000 visitors/day. Price doesn't matter for me if i am getting a good support and service in return.

Well, if your websites are small business site then you can start with VPS hosting where you would be getting total freedom to play with your server and can install all required applications and softwares moreover you would have greater server resources as compare to shared reseller hosting packages at your disposal for use.

My computer has now been running for over twenty four hours, and all is well and everything is still pretty cool, I normally switch it off at night, it seems a waste of electricity to leave it running, and it used to keep Me awake odd occasions when I did, but last night I didn't really notice it, so I am very pleased indeed, at last peace and quiet rules.

Well, What i can advice you is to have your main website developed using Joomla, forum with phpbb3 or vBulletin (whichever forum software you prefer) and a Wordpress blog for detailed information on all available brands !!!
