The Supreme Court has ruled in favour of banks in their appeal against bank charge reclaims. What this actually means is that people, and the OFT, cannot cite Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts regulations as a reason to dispute charges. The Supreme Court says it's wrong to regard overdraft charges as an unfair term of contract. It doesn't mean that's the end of the matter but for now the banks have the upper hand unless the OFT...

Which one do you have? Is it any good? You have to get one, they are soooooo comfy.. So worth the money then? Are they on a par with a 'real' bed? Are they the same size/height?

Let's face it, the banks were always going to appeal and appeal until they had it their way. I do feel sorry for the mugs who have been paying £000s in bank charges for going overdrawn though

I, for one, really missed Wollies this year in the run up to the festive season, our nearest Woolworths is opening this week as a £1 or £2 shop, which should be good So, What's your Woolies now?

I have been using a Neti pot as I had chronic sinusitis and had become horribly addicted to vicks sinex. It may well be that your nose is too blocked, as when I am fairly blocked it will only pass through in drips (sorry if TMI!) sometimes I have kind of snorted it into the sinuses, then blown it out to try to help on bad days. It has really helped alot, I havent used the sinex for about a month ...

In the summer I find it quicker to dip them all in the bath every night if need be. In winter they bath maybe 2-3 times a week. DS has been bathing more often as he has very dry skin and we have a emolient to bathe him in and also cream to rub in after.

She would be gutted if she didn't get to do the trials every day - trials equal air time and that is what she wants. And it's not like she had no idea what she would be getting into is it, seeing as she has been there before! No, I don't feel sorry for her in the slightest. I reserve my sympathy for people who are in terrible situations not of their own making.

Dh and I sometimes clash over the British ones too - things that we say over here occasionally mean the exact opposite in America! That whole cliche about "divided by...
