New CVs
Published (2009-11-27 18:01:00)
The seals leaking could be age, worn bushings in the housing, drive axle alignment being off due to sagging/broken engine mounts, scoring on cv joint, etc. I can get you a pic, just need to know if this is an auto or manual trans.

Yup re-doing the headliner will make it look a lot cleaner aswell. For now you can use push tacs to get the headliner out of your way but I would not suggest it as a permanent solution

TBI Block for boost.
Published (2009-11-27 21:32:00)
The 88 TBI is not a common block so why use 84 stuff if you're going to buy rods & pistons? Just put the rods and pistons in the New (or old) TBI block and drill the turbo drainback hole and use everything else 88.The 84 crank is a 6 bolt and will require an early flywheel. If you have an automatic that's a whole other can of worms. Forget the 84 stuff and use the $ for rods & pistons.

My favorites are the Hall Effect Sensor in the distributor or the Engine Control Module. However if you are getting fuel it think the ECM is not a problem. You can probably pick up a sensor at a local junkyard and if everything suddenly works stick with it or get a new one. I don't know another way to test the Sensor.
good luck,,,,

The manual windows use plastic retainers(window slides) that secure the glass into the window channel on each side.
It is common for them to break and not hold the glass securely so the window" cocks".
I did not see them listed in the "help" catalog for a 91 Spirit but they should still be available from Mopar.
I have gotten them for my Son's 94 Sundance.

They are extension housing seals.
There are also bushings in the housing.

colder air = more power
That or your car just hates you
Personally I would go with the latter at this point

I thought at first that everything worked, but I have found some issues of course, mostly minor.
Rotors feel a bit warped, low speed braking seems a little wobbly. Since I have the voice alert on this car, and it has a disk brake pad warning, do the pads have sensors in them? Is that going to make finding replacements tough?
trip computer either doesnt work or the bulbs out, I just thought...

I will be taking mine apart very soon so I will take some pictures and post them up. The vanes on mine are locked so I hope to free them up. Here's a youtube link that shows how they work.

I would start by verifing the trans fluid is full.
If it is not fill to proper mark on dipstick and then locate your leak.
