See what I mean about the BHLM keeps popping up. I wonder where Toyota is getting them. If I had to guess, it would be a custom run from the same jobber they buy the normal light from. If true, it would not be a huge leap to see them offered to the public as a TRD part.

welcome to the forum. Its tough to stay stock isn't it? This is like a support group for tundra addicts. Best thing to do is study what others have done first, then decide what you really want from your system. the stock system isn't too bad in these trucks. First thing I did was install an alpine cd/ipod player. same week I knew the speakers couldn't hang so I put infinity coaxials in the rear doors and infinity separates in...

Sticker states 14 - 18 and you are having an issue with 13 on a new truck with the motor not even broke in yet? Heck even with the motor broke in the sticker says average, meaning some folks will get lower and some will get higher. Relax, drive the truck and when you get about 4,000 miles on the motor should be starting to settle in, then you might do better . I don't check my mileage except when on a trip, the fuel gauge is all I really...

Nice truck, search for exhaust, as well as everything else you're asking. Everybody has an opinion.

The situation is fluid... two, possibly 3 shooters... one is in custody... one or more are on the run.

I would try another dealer man.
As for flushing it, yea sounds like it hasnt been done right. If the fluid smells burnt, looks brown or black and such DO NOT FLUSH IT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Whatever is holding it together will be gone if you flush, your trans is toast anyways if it has those symptoms. Only a matter of time really.
Wanna flush it ...

If you want a nice ride do what most everybody here did. get bilstein 5100 shocks. Look around for the million posts about them. spacers cost about the same so do it right, you will hate the ride quality with a spacer lift. If $ is no biggie, and you don't mind doin some research, check out full coilovers. look at my pics, those are toytecs, fully ...

He knows you will buy another from him some day and he wants to get your business next time. Those are the sorts of vendors that survive and even thrive during tough times.
The recession will end, and I will still have an RCSB with a 5.7.

I guess I've been around here long enough to be considered an older member, but no longer sign on very often. My problem is that the new format is super slow on my dial-up connection compared to some of the original versions. It also turns out that my '00 Tundra has been a lot more trouble free than I expected, so I'm not on here trying to figure out problems as much as I did when the truck ...

Abe Lincoln is quoted to have said: "It's if better to remain silent and thought a fool, than to speak up and remove all
doubt." I happen to have in my hot little hands a hard copy from Dastek Piggyback computers (Unichip) that shows the
wiring for simply removing the speed limiter. It was found on this forum and posted on this particular group. I've hit the
damn thing also. ...

there is a trd 4.7 supercharger on ebay right now. also there is one on craigslist that comes with headers limited slip differential, unichip, and the supercharger has been completely rebuilt. i dont think there is any turbo out specifically for the tundra. you could have a custom turbo made for about $4,500 if a shop does it or cheaper if you make it your self.
