No one is sinking YRC but the economy, My opinion is that YRC dragged their feet far too long to merge the two companies, there where two terminals , two terminal managers two or more everything in too many cities, Roadway staff was competing for Yellow freight and they both were the same company.. I point the finger at the company, I think either one of them could have survived separately and I think had they merged the two companies...

I thought that Wes Kemp would get this job with all the years of service he has given to the company. Mrs. McReynolds has been with the company a relatively short period of time. I know nothing about her but I wish her the best. I just hope that she understands the freight business.

Well said.It is very strange days lately for sure.Ive said similar stuff every day as far as the driver thing.I run a full pedal run every day and in my area at the end of the day is National Envelope.Well we have guaranteed a driver to be there till 700 PM every night if they want.I don't want to stay there that late and am at top rate,but we have lower rate drivers that aren't getting hours ...

Your right. The excuse is too many companies not enough freight. So lets find the weak ones that don't have deep pockets and watch em fold. Heard Conway is matching. Your right what happened to fair competition.

Now that all the dispatchers are happy, I would like to add the line drivers to the good job Harrison list. We love working the dock, and watching the local drivers make turns. Can't wait until the next company survey comes out so I can express my appreciation. TP

Fedex pays time and a half after 8 hrs per day
Fedex now pays me 4 weeks vacation as well as holidays and sick days per year
Fedex has some of the best equipment on the road (am fm stereos with cd players, cruise control, tilt wheel etc.
