Temporary Seasonal UPS job 2009
Published (2009-11-19 10:54:00)
It still doesn't hurt to try or keep trying. UPS has thousands and thousands of applicants. Everything is automated and it's hard to distinguish your credentials over the next internet application. I'd almost guess an application is picked by random. Sometimes one has to call the terminal and speak to a human voice. Again, good luck to all who try and I hope an opportunity arises for someone. If it does, please post here.

The next member to take the official poll will be the 100th member to do so. So in order for all of us to acknowledge this milestone we need to have you post the fact that this was your lucky show biz break. No need to state your pick.

You're reading a lot of hypothetical bs into it. The union is just saying they and the banks have done a lot to keep the company afloat and the employee stock will be treated like the rest..diluted. No one said a word about closing anything. The company is just going into a hibernation mode till the spring. Enjoy the lull or the 60 hrs.. which ever is applicable

The Sterlings that I have driven were POS garbage, plain and simple. The controls are akwardly placed, they oversteer very badly, the ride could be much smoother, and the plastics are cheap, hard and given to easy cracking. I would not touch one with a ten foot pole using my own money. Oh yeah and cheapskate Con-Way Freight loves them.

Gtrdone. There's no reason to get frustrated because you guy's are getting busy. If you think about, that is a very good sign. I wish that it would pick up a little more for us. Time will tell I guess.
