There are a bunch of hotels on your block probably each of which would be serving some food at that hour. At the Algonquin you can get light bar food algonquinhotel.com/sites/default/files/pdf/B… There are quiite a few Irish pub type places in the area that serve late if you look on menupages.com in the west 40's. The Cranberry Deli on 45th b/w 6th & Broadway is listed as being open til midnight on menupages. You'll find...

Just as a point of reference... DW and I were in the WA the other day and I asked about the regular Sunday Brunch $95 a person..... that did not include a drink.... My guess for Christmas would be $125 per person... welcome to NY.

Must-do weekend events in Paris?
Published (2009-11-05 23:55:00)
The Bastlle market on boulevard Richard Lenoir is a good Sunday morning bet. The Marais is wide open (and usually very busy) on Sundays, unlike most of Paris . Many of the streets are turned over to pedestrians for most of Sunday. If the weather is fine it would be a great time to explore the wonderful Canal St. Martin area for that reason — and many others...

Genoa - worth visiting?
Published (2009-11-05 23:40:00)
It is not a "picturesque", compact touristy town like Florence or Siena ...but has a lot to offer for those that are interested in its attractions. It has a true city-like feel. Perfect description - Genova is a large city and it has gritty sections, but it's also a "real" experience. Vagabonda

By NORM RJ Cirque du Soleil will make official today what ticket broker sites have been banking on for months: The name of the Elvis show at CityCenter will be “Viva Elvis.” Cirque, I hear, is still shooting for previews to open Dec. 16, which is the opening night of Aria, the hotel tower where the 1,800-seat Elvis theater will be housed. lvrj.com/news/Cirque-neon-will-be-flashing-V…

Hey you! :-) I still that Delphi is still worth a visit but if you feel like changing your plans then Nafplio is a great option together with Erik's above. Or, keep an eye in case it opens again before your trip and leave your decision for the last moment.

I think mfuwe referred to something like this earlier, chances are someone has loaded the wrong fares into the computer for this specific journey. Maybe they are quoting business or first classfares for example. Compare and see. What are they quoting for KL? same? Or is it the Langkawi route that is messing it up?
Sooner or later someone will notice they arent getting any ...

Thanks for the first 2 reports... shame about the dissapointment with the pool.... can't imagine having to get out of the sea or a pool in Dubai and feeling cold! Glad you enjoyed Latitude though later that evening.
Looking forward to the next installment :-)

This reporter seems to be ignoring something that seems pretty obvious: if you're going to go after bargain hunters, you should offer bargains. Perhaps the strip resorts should offer a little more value rather than sitting around scratching their heads and wondering why someone who paid $30 a night for their room doesn't want to pay $8 for a beer by the pool.
