When a new build is out, a blog will be posted on their site and you can either manually download it or yes it will auto download when you restart trillian IF you are a pro member and have the setting checked off to auto check for beta versions. EDIT: grrr you beat me to the reply hehe

I don't think the server changed. cs.yahoo.co.jp:5050 still answers to telnet. However, Yahoo! Japan uses UTF-8 encoding. Yahoo! does not, and I don't see anywhere in Trillian preferences to change the encoding. This is just my guess and may or may not be related to why you cannot connect. In other IM clients I use, Yahoo! Japan is treated as a different option.

For Yahoo contacts I have to use their client or their website based client to do it as Trillian has a bug with removing Yahoo contacts.

Actually a 2-3 week turnaround from the Apple App Approval department is the norm, so it hasn't been too long. But curiosity is killing me and I find myself searching the app store daily!

Well every 5 - 7 days I noticed they update the build on 4.1 so far, but since this error just occurred for me on Astra 18 hours ago, that means it is a pretty new error, I do not know how long it will take for them to fix that bug either this update or the one after I assume. Don't blame the multi- chat clients it is Facebook's fault for changing their Chat settings in the first place.

yea i have problem with facebook. it says it connected but the chat Disconnects all the time and its starting to become very annoying. hope they have an update/fix for some of the bugs but other then that i love trillian

Do you need "close after send" turned on for your 1 on 1 chats? If not just turn the entire option off in preferences.
Otherwise, no there isn't a separate option for "all group chats".
