yeah, i think so too.... looks like it. they should develop a 4.1 that functions like a 4.1 but LOOKS like a 3.1 . ...but this is kind of a minor thing, is it not? can't a line or two of code be added in the 'discovery' mechanism when trillian sends the login data to msn servers? (or can whatever that is working right in the current versions be carried over/translated/made interopable to work in 3.1 - since those who code...

Do you have a Pro subscription? Edit -> I don't think a Pro subscription is required for just skins (it is for themes tho). You should be able to see the new skins under Preferences -> Skins -> Custom Windows.

Hmm. That's right I suppose but I thought it was because you weren't allowed to use connections made with another name to stop too many records on the database.

It is a bug... you need to go to www.yahoo.com and log into their "web messenger" and delete the contact there. Otherwise you could obviously do it with the Yahoo client, but who wants to download that crap...not me. Hopefully Trillian gets this fixed up soon, it is very annoying.

I do not use icq but try going to preferences/Identities and Connections then select your icq account, after that select the settings tab that appears then look for the miscellaneous tab and look for: Override my display name for this account with. Fill in the name you want and be sure to tick/check mark that then close preferences and see if it shows the name you want.

I was reading about this yesterday http://www.smh.com.au/news/technolog...456712775.h tml . I'd like to see what the Rasmussen brothers have come up with. Edit: Yep I just did. I saw the link originally but didn't look at it. I like the concept I just have this mental block about having to keep the browser open. I'm sure I'll get over it.

So you want an option to lock window sizes? I mean you can currently leave "remember window size and position" unchecked after you get the size how you want, then at least if it gets screwed up you can just close that window and reopen it. A lock window sizes sub-option might not be bad... I certainly don't want the area needed to hover to resize made smaller, it works very nice how it ...

Me again. One more suggestion/request to improve the mail functionality ..... For entries in the "My Contacts" section of the contacts window I can right-click a contact and one of the menu options allows me to rename it. For the mail accounts in the "My Mail" section the right-click menu doesn't include a rename option. I'd really like to be able to rename my mail entries as "Personal ...

right click block? But if the messages are coming from all sorts of accounts, instead of blocking each and every accounts, you need to change it so they can't message you in the first place. In the connection preferences, you can set it up to only receive IM's from contacts on your list, that is the ultimate spam blocker.

I've been using iGoogle for a few years now, and really like it. I switch between that and Yahoo! a lot. I used MSN as a homepage back in like 2000-2002 and haven't really paid any attention since...but I must say I'm not a fan of that design they switched to.
