ApexSpeed/Trackpedia Server is...

if I can get my laptop set up, I may try to get online to see how the dial-up works. Also depends on what time it is though I'm scheduled to work 7-4, but I can probably leave any time after 11 when the afternoon person gets there. We'll see, I really want to feed that competitive desire in me.

I keep getting booted, with a "Vehicle class does not pass filter" error. I have the rTrainer, and bought the advanced package and all, and have the HPT track. Any clue?

Track Commander?

There's a little blurb about it in the latest GRM, and I've checked out the website, but just hoping someone had maybe used one. It is very new yet, maybe I'll be the guinea pig?

Sounds like fun. I can work on it next Sunday, after my Mom leaves from Thanksgiving. We'll want to borrow Stecher's sawzall, unless you have one.

Does data acq make a difference?...
Published (2009-11-23 11:50:00)
the question. I know what a stabilizer is supposed to do, but how much of a difference does it really make? Second, have you seen them on 4x4s? I know the grizz 700 has power steering but would it be worth it to put one on my wolverine 450, and is it even possible??

Nitrogen for tires, starting...

Does anyone have any real world numbers on this? The stuff that comes out of the hose at the local gas station or home air compressor for that matter is already 80% nitrogen. Does it really make a difference?

Big time. Video plus a data overlay is the bench racing eliminator. John and I have used it at races looking for time, there is no arguing with a video. The data shows whether you're using all the tires up and throttle position etc. It's also more useful than lap times for seeing where time is being lost.

I've heard to start 2ish psi higher than you would with regular air. I'd be on the horn to a knowledgable tire guy (like maybe Phil's in NY) to double-check though

I usually run NGKs or similar. Playing with the heat range you use is where you'll see peformance gains, not the +4 or all those other snake oil designs

I heard they work really well if you push the pedal all the way down!
Actually the lines you got are excellent...same ones I had on the Ferrari and when I put them on I noticed a better pedal feel.
