Where was it leaking from? When you got the timing belt done, did you have the oil pump done? If the pump was done and not installed correctly it could cause oil to leak.

Toyota had a recall on 3.4-V6s that probably ended with the 97 models. I had a "96 that was covered in this recall and both head gaskets were
replaced. In all probabllity the truck you're interested in has been serviced.

Can't comment on Snugtop or ARE. Leer however gets a big from me. Back when I purchased mine, the only options (for a hard tonneau in August 2005) were Leer, ARE, and Snugtop. Snugtop looked weird being that it was completely flat from front to rear (might be different now). Pricing them out, all 3 were approx the same price. Have had the Leer on (and technically off for things like ...

If they are worse than that, then it's time to replace the struts. The springs can be reused however, if there is no sagging apparent.

putting in a bigger fuse is probably not the answer..... the fuses are there to protect the components and wiring from melting down. either the wiring you did, is pulling current to ground, or the higher wattage bulbs are drawing too much current.
use a volt meter to check your wiring continuity to ground.
and try checking the current draw on different legs of the circuit. (amp check on ...

I would never buy a well used demo model. Anytime you try out a demo, you acceleate fast, even do kick-downs, as well as breaking hard, etc.
Demo are usually abused, and not broken in right, which may bring on engine seals problem later on.
Tell the salesguy to stick it. Peace of mind on a properly broken in car is worth a lot to me.

This has been a problem with other Highlanders. They have found a faulty hood switch for the alarm.

Nice. Much much better with that Dodge looking thing removed. Whats that thing on your front fenders? Also, whats that square looking thing on the door knobs? If its just a sticker, take it off. I noticed that its on the driver side and not on the passenger side.
I dont know about that gas tank cover. Sticks out like a sore thumb. Is that carbon fiber cover or a sticker? For some reason, it ...

if you do a search of this specific sub-forum(gen 5&6) you will find tons of info on what options you have for going HID.
just a tidbit of info that you will get after searching, you can install an HID kit in the stock projectors but will not look as good as a retrofit with proper HID projectors. if you just do an HID kit, you should cover your squirrel spotters, which are small tabs in the ...
