Help With A Satnav
Published (2009-11-29 22:15:00)
Saphire1 - Garmin are probably the longest established and most experienced in the world of GPS, not only do they do Sat Nav for autos but also for shipping and the aviation industry so do not worry about their reliability. I use their StreetPilot 7200 but they are now difficult to find BUT I understand that the later Nuvi models are also extremely good.

Carry on on the B936 road towards Newburgh, and satnav will redirect you to take the next left exactly 1/2 mile from national speed signs. Civilian Friends
Published (2009-11-26 17:57:00)
I think it's a load of tosh anyway. I'm ex-forces, I made some good friends while I was in, but I've made good friends outside the forces too. I wouldn't say the friends I made in the forces are are any "better" than ones I've made in other jobs, or through playing rugby, or even through caravanning. A good friend is a good friend, however that friendship developed. There is a lot to be said for...

You may remember, although I've not been on this forum for some time, that my husband, Ken, died very suddenly in June 2008, and I was absolutely bereft and in a state of shock. 18 months on, I still miss him desperately - but life has taken a turn for the better! I eventually came to terms with my life as a single person - its so difficult to say 'I' when it's always been 'We' - ...

QUOTE (Beejay @ Nov 25 2009, 03:22 PM) I recall reading on a forum, but can't trace it, that a Doctor's letter is required if the E entitlement is to be retained on renewing a licence at 70. Neither DVLA or DirectGov websites give any information on this. It certainly was not a requirement in October 2008 but does anyone KNOW if there has been a change, preferably somebody who has ...

I usually have several installed because I work with web design for friends. I like to ensure my creations work in both IE and Firefox. So I usually have Firefox installed, Google Chrome, Safari, Netscape and of course, IE. I dislike Chrome and Safari as they don't reproduce a lot of web sites correctly. Same reason for Firefox or Netscape but it's not as bad as the above two. I ...

I think your Stepmother has the strongest case in the absence of any up to date will from your Grandmother since your Dad died. Alas, with so many people involved it's going to have to involve solicitors if you all can't barter out an agreement.
