Good morning, all. Currently 32F, calm and clouded over skies. Snow/rain is predicted for today and tomorrow, but doesn't appear it will cool down much. The snow depth has dropped drastically in the last couple days. If we only get weekly snows, warm inbetween, I would be happy. But, I am sure we are in for some good ones later. I plan to get some outside things done this morning before the storm hits, then maybe some inside stuff done. I...

I just got back from a gun show in Greenville.I worked this morning with a friend who had a table there but was short of help.I sold a couple of guns for him.I bought a Ruger Super Redhawk with box and rings from a walk in.I already have one of these. It was a screaming deal.As I was walking the show before leaving it a dealer asked me what was in the box.One thing lead to another and I sold it for $100 profit.I really didn't need two of...

Grant scored his first goal of the year today. Yehawwww. His head is pretty big now so I need to go take him down a notch or two while I'm still bigger than him. I think Chuck and Bill are in for the duration. I hear from Chuck several times a day via email. Nothing since Friday night.

Morning all, currently around 26 degrees and light snow, just enough to dust the rural roads. Took a Russian SKS out this morning to test my reloads, worked fine. So I guess I can load 100 rounds or so and feel comfortable with them. Actually less felt recoil with them, but you could tell it banged the steel rabbit at 100yds alot harder than the Wolf. Got Linda's presents all wrapped while she is in church having her Sunday school class...

Good morning all. No snow here, but we had too much rain. So much that they have closed the shell fish beds from south of Charleston to the NC line. We had 5 1/2in in less then 18 hrs, and the trigger for closure is 4in over 24hrs. It will be hard to get it opened back up by the time this oyster market is over after New Years. This rain on top of what we already had, put us over the previous record Dec rainfall. They have already been turning...

Have I told you how much I HATE WINTER!!!!!!! Drifts to 18 inches and 12 to 15 in other spots. In the 20's and we lost power for 12 hours to make it really interesting. The good part the kids made it down in great shape about 11 PM Friday night and ran ahead of the storm in only rain all the way. They were here about 15 minutes and it started. I ran the super kerosene heater and kept the place at 65 or so with that alone. I cooked...

Good afternoon guys! First the weather report. 36 degrees with strong winds that makes it hard to stay out very long. Wind is just part of Oklahoma but I would prefer a 17 degree calm day to this. Got the Drozd full auto bb gun yesterday and have gone through 3 of the 12 gram co2 cartridges. I get about 4 30 rounds mags from each cartridge. Looks like the refillable tank is needed for constant blasting. I have a co2 tank that I use to...

Should be in the 70s here. Hung out 3 loads of wash, partly dry by now. I remember snow. We had that stuff back in January of '49. Also a flurry in the Valley back around '62, but that's a higher elevation than most of LA. Big project today was replacing a 3-way light switch. No great degree of difficulty but I didn't understand how they work and am very cautious about wiring and that sort of thing. Seems to be successful,...

Kevin, some of that moisture is coming our way too. Snow and or rain which means if it rains it will probably be freezing rain. If that happens there will be two hour work delay and I'll be able to sleep in! Went out and shot my GSG .22 Saturday, that's the one that looks like a H&K MP-5 sub gun. I don't shoot many .22's but it was kind of fun not having to scroung for lost brass and the cost is cheap enough. Also...

Good morning, all. Currently 40F, a wind is starting to blow thru the tops of the pines, and snow is expected later this afternoon through tomorrow. At least a
lot of snow from the last two storms has melted.
Bill, sorry to hear about the computer. I have most of my pictures on those disc things, so I guess they are saved. If I lost my favorites I don't know
what I would do. Many are saved ...

Having a lazy day here I hope. Grant has a hockey game at noon. I never
knew much about the game or even gave a crap about it till he started
playing. Of course I have a vested interest.

Cold, rainy and windy here today. 55 for the high, going to upper 30s maybe 40 tonight, but maybe only 50 for a high tomorrow. It has been raining since
daylight, and from the radar picture, it looks like it will last until midnight or so. They say maybe some sleet or snow up by Stan, but we will just have
rain. Part of downtown Charleston is closed off due to flooded streets, and high tide isn't...

Nice day here also, with a high in the mid forties. Looks like chance of snow tomorrow evening into Saturday. Then back in the freezer for the near future.
Took the Rasheed and Mossberg out this morning before the ground had a chance to thaw. Rasheed was dead on at 100yds with just a few hiccups cycling. First
empty ejected on the table right beside the rifle, then I remembered I hadn't ran ...

Good evening, all. Warm day today, it hit 40F and the snow is still melting. Or, at least the roof is dripping. We actually had a light rain after the morning
snow. I didn't get any snow removed today as was busy doing office work and didn't feel like stopping and plowing snow. Predictions are for a couple
warmer days, in the high 30's low 40's, so might hold and wait.
I will try to get the ...

High of 25 today with some brisk winds. Tomorrow a little better, with a high of 35. Thursday more better(LOL). High of 39. I looked at the 10 day forecast on
weather channel when I got up Monday, yuppers Thursday looks good,,,, taking the day off to go shooting. Other days on their forecast were repeats of yesterday
and today. I NEED some "behind the sights" time. Been almost 2 weeks. And I have...

Good afternoon, all. I plowed snow today, first with the tractor and got the roads done, then switched to the 4 wheeler, quad, or ATV. Still don't know
what to call them. It was doing a great job in the yard, and I even touched up the roads, then the damn thing quit running. Just stopped. Same as last year

It moderated here today. 40 today and in the mid 50s on Monday.
Went to a gunshow nothing I needed. I did see an Egyptian FN 49 sniper. No scope or mount just the rifle and transit case for $700.
