Yes I play with Alexandria so I don't have to find my CD And yes it was a fun map. If we were testing still I would suggest a raider site or more after the win, just to use the charioteers. Thanks for the notes Tinkerbell, I did the same thing with the stuck farmers and it did not happen again. I was wondering if it might have been the very first year I placed them as there were villager huts blocking the farm huts for a few years. I just...

You don't need much more farms for the added structures. You build the overseer and the laborers anyway, so leave them out. Shops support themselves. Only extra you have to feed is one priest, and pretending you don't need him if you build in your main city, one baker. As for the structure, as I said you can make well with 4 shrines and one set of healthcare. This means, you need 4 shrines (4x10 bricks), 1 priest dedicated to all (25...

I like sakasiru's idea of combining a labour camp with a military complex, will try it out on my next game. On another note, I just got off from a game where it took 10+ years to finish a single tiny pyramid ><! I didn't build a remote camp yet, so I ended up with workers who ditched a limestone sledge in the middle of the night, came all the way back to the limestone quarry for another one, abandoned that one as...

Very choppy/slow on new computer

Hey guys, I figured it out. I hadn't rebooted the computer in a couple of weeks and it looks like there were some old orphan processes hanging around that were messing with my performance. I basically cleared the process list of suspicious stuff and it now runs just fine. Thanks!

First of all: If you don't have the space to place temples, build shrines instead. They will serve nearly as well as temples, but need much less space. Just keep them lit (=activated by priests). You don't need to place both for a single god. And as long as your city is not spread out over the map, you only need one worship site per god.
I (and most other players I know) build a row of shrines ...

You may want to post that question over on a site like TechGuys.org forum.
A few professional IT people help out there on a volunteer basis. They
might give you some ideas. This is the site were I got help with a virus
infection a few years back.

The 10 million dollars float down from the sky cushioning a large smoothy.
You are so surprised that you suffer a massive hart attack and the associated costs come out to 30 million.

A refund on a game? hmm I can not think of anyone that refunds PC games once they are opened.
You might try selling it on amazon or ebay or try locally on craigslist.org if it is in your area.
Have you asked the retailer where you purchased it?
Sorry to hear your not enjoying it, I am having a great time playing it.
Good luck!

Hello elDubbya,
Now there's your problem, Your machine is too nice and you supplied all the information to (hopefully) get a good answer. Give it time one of the techies will probably figure it out.
Good luck, sorry if I got your hopes up for an answer.

I relaly dont think theyll wait until the end like they did with Josh and Reva. If anything this may speed things up. If they have any sincerity at all about hoping to find a new home, they need to work even harder to get ratings up now.

I would think that any modern card with more than 128k memory should be good. Although usually lag in larger cities will most likely be a combination of both the video and processor. You could put in a killer video card but that pentium 1ghz processor is only going to process the pathing so fast and will slow down with larger cities.
There are many reasons why these slow downs occur, try ...
