First off, try using our search function, it comes in REALLY handy when you're looking for answers to stuff. Secondly, they are my older kids who are now nearly 15 and 19. Finally, they aren't in as many trip reports because they live with their mom, and well, they are older now, and I respect their privacy. --Robb "I think I've divulged enough personal information." I rode it one time when it was still at SCBB. It wasn't a big ride, but it was still fun. Too bad it's going away, but at least it's not being scrapped. Eric

Don't have to much time to post all the pics, but yesterday was the first day the new mega resort in Las Vegas had opened up its sidewalks for the public!
To some, this may seem...minor, but really since this project was suppose to open up in May 2008 - it's a big thing! Over a year and a half delayed, guests can now finally walk up to the buildings and see the atmosphere that will soon ...

So hey.
I am currently building a Vekoma Motorbike called Dune Bike. As of writing, I am done with the track. Now all I need to add is the supports, 3ds, and terrain.
Dune Bike takes place in the rolling dunes of the Sahara Desert. You will notice in the pictures that Dune Bike's station (more like stations because it's a dual station) and brakes are far off the ground...

Well, at least the ride will be well themed as it says Sea Vipers are ' grotesque' and so are Kumbak trains.

"Hello sir" and "Hello madam" (normal greeting of a sales girl/guy at a megamall in the Philippines),
I experienced a powered roller coaster credit (I won't count it) on top of the Crown Regency Hotel and Towers in Cebu City, Philippines. This ride is quite a thrill for folks afraid of heights (or the impact to the ground). The coaster track flirts around the edge of the hotel base for ...

I went to Magic Mountain on Saturday, the 14th. Probably the worst experience I've had at the park.
Got there at 11am - find out its Key Club day. If you ejoy 70 buses of middle school kids wearing bunny ears and shouting, "I FEEL GOOD, OH I FEEL GOOD" while spinning around slapping their butts - you would of really loved it. Happened about ever 10 steps.
EDIT: Something I forgot...

Back in late October yours truly tied the knot and what better way to celebrate a Honeymoon then go to Walt Disney World. My wife, Cassie, and I spent a week in Florida during its awesome heat wave and experienced two record setting high temperatures. Coming from Arizona where it's a dry heat, this humid thing was a little uncomfortable for us but we still managed to have a blast.

Hi--
My University Engineering project this year covers roller coaster design. I am investigating, amongst other things, what it is that makes roller coasters so exciting. Along with additional work, the project aims to create the 'perfect' next generation roller coaster design!
So this is where you come in - I need public opinion on what you think makes a coaster exciting. Please ...
