An FYI for the recently retired guys out there. The guys wearing the US Marshals uniforms that work the perimeter security posts of the Courthouse are not US Marshals. They are all retired Cops that work for a private Security Firm. And from what I hear they are well compensated for their services.

That Tunnel from MCC to the Courthouse leads to the old Federal courthouse .. When the feds built the new Grand and Glorious Federal Courthouse Deluxe.. They located the new one across the street. I would image they included a tunnel , but I've never been in that one... That's why I said NYPD, would only be involved in prisoner movement if they left the building onto the street....
