The same argument can be said for anything over 16" as that is what the chassis was designed for. How many people, honestly, would be in danger by running 20" wheels? Very few of the folks on this forum run their car hard enough to have to worry about it. The problem with the lower profiles isn't losing the traction, its getting it back once it breaks. The bigger the profile the easier it is to catch. You can lose...

They will fit.
Too big to handle well IMO.
May need arch mods and lowering to stop the car looking like a 4x4.

Sad to see you go Derek
However I can vouch for this lovely Supra! It drives really really well when Derek tell me borrow it one time. It was this car that made me miss being BPU!
Good luck with the sale mate! Perhaps bring it down to a meet just for old times sake before you sell her? Be good to catch up

What do you think about the Toyota Supra?
Such a simple title yet a challenging question.
I began to love Supras the more I got to learn about them.
To me they are the only Japa car that stands out. Most of the cars are block like shaped I only like sleek lookers. Like the Supra, MR2.. RX7 Isn't too bad.
I never knew ...

The 2 teams I will be rooting for this year are Mclaren and Brawn GP. Hopefully Button will have a car under him to show his potential, although Rubens is still a great driver and will give a few guys a run for their money.

Hot news,
I'm currently developing a 3.4 litre stroker kit for the 2JZ-GTE engine. Its in early stages at the moment but will be released in about 3 months time approx, may be sooner if the manufacturers do there stuff.
The crank will be made in the UK by one of the leading manufacturers, 94mm EN40B billet crankshaft.
You'll have the option of running your own choice of conrods. ...
