Its connected to the tv via the scart and the coloured connectors. After some more researching on my current, i think you are probably right It is a 50hz tv so that would explain it.

yeah, if you on a scart then pal 50 is probably all your going to get on an old tv, some newer sets can maybe handle pal 60 but sounds like your out of luck. And anyway what an excuse to buy a new tv and your games will look so much better in HD

Ive tried all day to figure out how to do it. i dont want a guide on how to flash cus i gave up on that, i need some kit stuff for it and il just pay someone to do it but i have a lite on drive and i was wondering.. can anyone confirm if this is correct i want to play on live aswell, but not the games i have downloaded ofc. ok i get someone to flash it for me with ixtreme 1.6 + activation disc so to not get caught on live i need to turn some...

I was going to flash my xbox in a few days, i have always been wary of doing it and after this banning wave i think i may not flash it now. I may buy a arcade which has already been flashed to play copied games i only want to play offline. And then use my unflashed xbox to play genuine games online. Have a look here mate. http://support.xbox.com/ There is a section that suggests compatible routers and should be a good starting point although I use Linksys routers with great success. hth
