I'm interested in the InPort card as I have the mouse (and complete set of original adapters for use on PS/2 or either serial port too, the card and software** are all I'm missing). PM me with a price and shipping cost (Ontario Canada) if you're willing to part with it cheap please. **If anyone has a copy of the disk(s) that came with the setup I'd appreciate a copy please.

Printer help
Published (2009-11-20 13:49:00)
One really simple test to see if your lpt1 port is working or if it's a driver issue is to connect the printer to your parallel port and just echo something to it. (echo testing123 > lpt1 and see if it prints that. If so then your parallel port is working and it's an OS/driver issue. There's also the debug trick to see if your BIOS has it properly mapped. Here's a little info on that technique depending on how bored...

Good luck with that! A personality module whose sole purpose is to program an obscure (MM5203) EPROM that's nearly 30 years old is going to be very hard to locate.
You may want to consider rolling your own programmer for that single chip.

Nice little find. Older Macs are great little machines to tinker with. This one has a superdrive so if it doesn't have an OS, you should be able to create a boot disc even on a PC. There's an executable floating around the net that makes a System 7.5 floppy on a PC. Also, try looking for HFS Explorer. It should allow you to work with disc images and can read and write Mac formatted floppies. An ...

There is not really enough information here to answer the question. Is the hot (from the power panel) wired to the switch or one of the lights? What color wires are wired to the swtch and each lamp? How many white/black pairs are in each box? Do you have a meter?

Take it to the UPS store or FedEx and have them pack and ship it.
If they pack it, they're responsible for using the right burst strength packaging, padding, etc.
If you don't want to do that, at least go to their website, and find out the requirements because even if you insure it, if you don't use the packaging specs they call for, you won't get paid on the insurance if something happens.
