Welcome aboard Atoche, I like the name,
Sounds like a old logging/mining camp from late 1800's to early 1900's....
I'd bet AL knows......

On a stick over a
camp fire.
Wraped in tin foil and throwed in the fire.
Grilled.
Baked.
Cut up in steaks and fried.
Add spices, butter, onions.
Tasty.
Besure to pluck feathers off first.
Cant beat it with a stick.

What I would "Hope" to find is something......
What I would "expect" to find is nothing.....
I can't answer better than that......
Most of what has been written relating to the two is assumed, added to, or twisted.....

Dig,
Somewhere I have a published story about this information. The story tells that the group came up from Mexico and it did involve a treasure. Other than that
I would have to find it--it's been over twenty years since I read it.

Bills of that vintage would bring far more than face value if sold to
collectors. If that sort of find had hit the collectors market everyone
would have heard about it by now. Another
urban legend in the making?
