Contrary to popular belief, the Great Wall of China is not the only man made object on earth that is visible from space; in fact, the Great Wall is barely discernable, and only under perfect conditions. Low earth orbit(160-350 miles up) is the altitude that the space shuttle orbits at. At this "low" level of orbit, many man made objects are viewable to the naked eye, including airports, bridges, dams, and highways. The Wall...

Jennifer Lopez didn't walk the red carpet at the AMA's, but she gave us many costume changes to make up for it. One of her looks backstage was this white bod-con Gucci Spring 2010 dress with many cut-out details. She paired her dress with the runway heels which also had cut-outs. On stage she opted for a gold dress with had exaggerated hips as she performed in Christian Louboutin heels. At some point the skirt was removed reveal a...

Ok. I just turned on this sorry-ass excuse for a soap. Right off the bat I hear the name "Rafe "and then I hear the name "Grady." Are they
kidding?
Plus, I just can't adjust to this funeral home-like lighting. Say what you will about GL's cheap ass look, but I for one am used to it now and I much
prefer it to this cartoon-like lighting and set design.
On top of all this heartache, I catch...

You Are Mashed Potatoes
You are reliable and steady. People know that they can count on you each year at Thanksgiving, and you are never a disappointment.
While you may seem simple, a lot of work goes in to who you are. You are a bit of an under-appreciated masterpiece.

Few would believe that the stodgy appearing actor David Ogden Stiers (DOS to many friends) is a flower child at heart. From his work and general appearance
most would describe him as uptight, humorless, conservative, religious, cold, and judgmental.
Now replace those adjectives with their opposite and you have the real DOS - fun loving, witty, liberal, atheistic, warm and ...

Three-time MVP Peyton Manning and Donald Brown were on the field for the Colts' first training camp practice on Monday.
Manning made it onto the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology field for the first time since August 2007. He missed all of training camp last season after

Brown, the Colts' No. 1 draft pick, practiced one day after agreeing to a contract with the ...

You believe the biggest risk is being afraid and missing out on something amazing.
Sometimes your fearlessness means you're daring. You enjoy risky activities.
And sometimes your ...

Police said a 23-year-old man is in stable condition after he pretended that he was falling off a bridge over the Minnesota River, then actually fell off the
bridge. Police got a call just before 5 a.m. Sunday from a 21-year-old man who said his friend fell off the Highway 77 bridge and into a marshy area about 30
feet below.
The caller said he was driving north when his friend, who he said ...
