DYK I know you are relieved that something is finally working, Cathy. DYK When I was going thru all that, I kept telling my drs that I couldn't breathe well and they kept just saying, 'it's like that when you're pregnant'? DYK And when they finally figured out it wasn't just the pregnancy, they started pumping me full of lasix and in about 2 hours, I lost 5 liters of fluid? DYK The lasix worked well for me? DYK...

DYK I am honestly considering a paraffin machine for our hands. DYK you will love it!? It also warms all the way down to your joints DYK I use the St. Ives apricot scrub first, to help remove the flakies.? Then moisturize with a thick, creamy/greasy lotion then dip. DYK I'll have to get mine out this weekend.

Hi,
Don't feel guilty and don't extend phase 1 for another day. We all make mistakes in phase 1. It's a learning process. Just keep going and move into phase 2 after 2 weeks.
How are you feeling? How did the first few days go?

You posted this recipe right before I walked in the door with pork planned for dinner. I used this recipe, and we liked it a lot. I didn't have mushrooms, so I chopped up cauliflower and added it. The flavors were very subtle, though. I would triple the maple syrup, as well as the cornstarch/vinegar/mustard, to make it stand out more the next time around. I highly recommend serving it with...

DYK another idea for your cranberries is to use them in baked oatmeal.
DYK I made a batch like that last week. I chopped half a bag of cranberries, and included some orange extract.

Hi Erica,
Vegetables are a large part of any healthy diet. Have you tried roasting vegetables? How about blending them in soup? I'm not a big salad eater either but I do eat a lot of other vegetables. Roasted broccoli or cauliflower is a favorite even with my kids. I love roasted red peppers on a sandwich. There must be some way for you to sneak some veggies in every day.

lol...this is great! :) I actually didn't have a single bit of dessert. I was full (but not miserable at all) and wore a tight sweater and skirt on purpose to keep myself from being a piggy! I've been using a new little saying everytime I eat "how do I want to feel tomorrow?" because it never fails that when I eat too much, I always feel super puffy the next day. I had planned to just eat ...
